When I was sixteen years old, I asked my mentor why do you always hear people say that the most faithful animal is the dog, if whenever I went out to the caye I could see dogs of different kinds looking for their female no matter who she was, it only mattered the one that would be in heat, and he kindly answered me saying, yes, that is true, but it is also true that it is faithful as far as humans are concerned. Let's say that a puppy will be attentive to any of his breed that is in heat, but he is faithful to humans if you take good care of him from a young age.
Then I answered, and is there any animal that is really faithful to its mate?

To which I attentively looked at him and he continued telling me that there was an animal that was faithful to its partner until the day it died, the eagles, they usually live 60 years, almost the life of the human being, and in all that time they are only with one partner, and they are until the day they die, that's why they are the most faithful animal on the planet.
