I've only been working with pets professionally since the pandemic but I have basically cared for them my whole life. I use a service called Rover which covers my business under their insurance and bonds. A lot of my clients have rescued their pets from the shelter. Around here it's a very noble thing to do and I encourage everyone to visit the local shelter before the pet store or puppy farm.
