I swear, my puppy grows bigger by the minute. On one hand, yes, of course she does. On the other, omg she's growing so fast!
Shelta, my German Shepherd mix of bouncy love, is now five months old.
She's smart, playful, adorable, and brings me so much joy. She's also a lot of work, but I knew she would be. She is my youngest child, after all.
We train every day. She gets things quick, but puppy brain makes it hard to listen sometimes. That's okay. She's growing.
I thought I'd do up a post with some pictures for your enjoyment and my own sense of awe.
Below: My pup at ten weeks. The day we brought her home.
This was the day her ears stood up.
Sixteen weeks old. This is one of my favorite pictures of her.
I took these last ones a week ago. Five months old.
She's fast. She's focused. She's playful and sweet.
I love my girl so much.
It's amazing to see my puppy transform into a gorgeous black shepherd. She looks a little like a wolf, and I love it.

I had a dog that would pull me on rollerblades I used to love that, even trained her to pull my boys gently😁funny story behind a not so gently time and a cat.

So happy. Thank you! Yes, she's a joy and still growing! I'm curious to see how big she gets. The original idea was that she was supposed to be petite, as her mom is only ~40lbs, but I think she's nearly 40lbs already at 5 months so... 🤣
