Hola para todos los hivers, y los amantes de las mascotas, hoy me animo a compartir con ustedes un suceso que me ha sorprendido mucho en lo personal, el cual lo llamo la maternidad compartida de Coquita y Yang, cómo les comenté hace poco mediante dos publicaciones en esta misma comunidad, detallando cada parto y los primeros días de vida de los nuevos hijos de Coquita y los de Yang, hoy les vengo con actualizaciones.
Hello to all the hivers, and pet lovers, today I dare to share with you an event that has surprised me personally, which I call the shared maternity of Coquita and Yang, as I told you recently through two publications in this same community, detailing each birth and the first days of life of the new children of Coquita and Yang, today I come with updates.
Quiero comenzar con la única noticia negativa, y es que uno de los tres hijos de Coquita falleció, no quería comer, cuando me di cuenta de la situación ya estaba frío y poco se pudo hacer, intente todo lo humanamente posible, darle calor y acercarlo a la teta de su mamá, pero este no tenía la intención de alimentarse, lamentablemente falleció.
I want to start with the only negative news, and that is that one of Coquita's three sons died, he did not want to eat, when I realized the situation he was already cold and little could be done, I tried everything humanly possible, give him warmth and bring him closer to his mother's teat, but he had no intention of feeding, unfortunately he died.
Ahora bien, lo siguiente que ha sucedido ha sido positivo, cómo ven en la imagen ya los gatos de Coquita están de un tamaño considerable y siguen aumentando su peso con el pasar de los días, hoy exactamente tienen 1 mes y 4 días de nacidos, los mudé de lugar, hace aproximadamente 5 días pasaron de estar en una caja en mi cuarto a dormir en la cocina en un acolchado en el piso, esto para que no tuvieran limitaciones a la hora de explorar.
Now, the next thing that has happened has been positive, as you see in the picture Coquita's cats are already of a considerable size and continue to increase their weight as the days go by, today they are exactly 1 month and 4 days old, I moved them from a box in my room to sleep in the kitchen on a quilt on the floor, this so they would not have limitations when it comes to explore.
Por otra parte, Yang y su hijo han dado de que hablar en los últimos días, el “Niño Yang” cómo le decimos de cariño, ha dejado la zona de confort del sitio donde nació (el cuarto de mi madre) para conocer por su cuenta la casa, Yang es una mamá muy sobre protectora al principio si lo veía afuera de su sitio, se acercaba a él para regañarlo y llevarlo de vuelta a dónde ella siente que está más seguro.
On the other hand, Yang and her son have been a big talk in the last few days, "Yang Boy" as we call him, has left the comfort zone of the place where he was born (my mother's room) to explore the house on his own, Yang is a very over protective mom, at the beginning if she saw him outside of his place, she would approach him to scold him and take him back to where she feels he is safer.
Hace 2 días, “Niño Yang” comenzó a frecuentar la cocina, dónde estaban los gatos de Coquita (los cuales si nos ponemos estrictos vendrían siendo sus tíos) para jugar con ellos y no estar solo, en un principio me daba mucho miedo por el hecho de como iba a reaccionar Coquita, al no ser su hijo no sabía si se colocaría agresiva con el gato o Mostar alguna reacción negativa.
Two days ago, "Niño Yang" started to frequent the kitchen, where Coquita's cats were (which if we are being strict would be his uncles) to play with them and not be alone, at first I was very afraid of how Coquita was going to react, not being her son I did not know if she would be aggressive with the cat or show any negative reaction.
Para mi sorpresa, esto no pasó, nada que ver con lo que estaba pensando, Coquita al verlo jugando con sus hijos en el mismo acolchado donde estaba, ella su reacción fue limpiarlo como si fuera su hijo, es más, a la hora de alimentarlos, el “Niño Yang” estaba mamando las tetas de Coquita cómo si fuera si madre, un hecho que me sorprendió mucho la verdad, a partir de ese momento los tres gatos son inseparables, comen, juegan y duerme juntos.
To my surprise, this did not happen, nothing to do with what I was thinking, when Coquita saw him playing with her children in the same quilt where he was, her reaction was to clean him as if he was her son, moreover, at feeding time, the "Yang Boy" was sucking Coquita's tits as if she was his mother, a fact that surprised me a lot, from that moment on the three cats are inseparable, they eat, play and sleep together.
No solamente pasa con Coquita, también con Yang, los gatos de Coquita maman y se alimentan de Yang también, parece como si las gatas de la casa tuvieran algún tipo de pacto para turnarse y que a los gatos nunca les falte alimento, a pesar de nacer de diferentes madres estos tres gatos pequeños ven a las dos gatas como sus madres.
It doesn't only happen with Coquita, but also with Yang, Coquita's cats suckle and feed from Yang too, it seems as if the cats of the house had some kind of pact to take turns and that the cats never lack food, in spite of being born from different mothers these three little cats see the two cats as their mothers.
No he notado algún efecto negativo en esta situación en los pequeños, es algo del cual estoy muy atento para cuidar su salud, Yang abandonado el cuarto y lo cambio por la cocina al igual que Coquita, ahora por lo general ambas gatas pasan la mayor parte de su tiempo en la cocina vigilando que todo esté bien, a veces una de ellas se va en búsqueda de alimento, pero la otra se queda y viceversa, por lo general casi siempre hay una de ellas con los gatos pequeños.
I have not noticed any negative effect in this situation in the little ones, it is something I am very attentive to take care of their health, Yang abandoned the room and changed it for the kitchen as well as Coquita, now in general both cats spend most of their time in the kitchen watching that everything is ok, sometimes one of them leaves in search of food, but the other one stays and vice versa, in general there is almost always one of them with the little cats.
Cabe destacar, que los gatos machos que viven en la casa no se involucran de ninguna forma con ellos, los ignoran completamente, si alguno de los gatitos se acercan a ellos para jugar (casi siempre con sus colas) ellos se suben a un lugar alto para que no los molesten sin causar ningún daño a los pequeños, es algo que me ayuda muchísimo saber que los gatos grandes no tienen mala intención.
It is worth mentioning that the male cats that live in the house do not get involved in any way with them, they ignore them completely, if any of the kittens approach them to play (almost always with their tails) they climb to a high place so they do not bother them without causing any harm to the little ones, it is something that helps me a lot to know that the big cats have no bad intentions.
Para finalizar, los tres gatos seguramente se consideran hermanos entre ellos, hacen todas sus actividades juntos acompañados siempre de la supervisión de Coquita y Yang, gracias por llegar hasta el final, cualquier duda o recomendación estaré atento en los comentarios para responderles en la máxima brevedad posible, hasta la próxima.
