Here we have Abby, our now 4 year old Maltese Shih Tzu. While at times she is an absolute feral brat! she is also gorgeous, loving, always super friendly and just loves to be the center of attention getting all the pats and cuddles she can.

We picked Abby up when she was about 10 weeks old back in mid 2018. 9 months after our previous dog Sass died from old age, after so much time we decided it was time for a new pup to liven the house up again. We took our time searching Gumtree (online website similar to Ebay where people can sell dogs and other stuff) for about 2 months until finally the perfect little pup was listed within driving distance from us. After contacting the owners, visiting them and getting everything sorted out with the local vet concerning recommended injections and so on... we were able to bring her home.
Lol she was great the first night... until it was bedtime, and anyone who's brought a pup home knows what happened next. Abby cried and cried and cried most the night until finally falling sleep early in the morning. But if I remember correctly, she only cried that first night and was pretty much good from then on and acted like she had lived there her whole life.

It was great to have a dog in the house again after so long without one. The house is just too quiet without them around I think, hearing their footsteps as they run/walk about, even hearing them bark (but not too much lol). Abby is great company and a bright spark of light and happiness in our day to day lives.
