Hello everyone! How’s your day? I hope you are all doing fine. I’m sorry if I was inactive for the last few days. I have been busy lately as we are looking for a company to apply to for our on-the-job training. But anyway, today I’m going to share with you all about my dog, named “Brody.” I named him Brody since he is my favorite hero in Mobile Legends. So let’s get started.
Since I am the only child, I long for the love of a sibling, and unfortunately, my mother can no longer provide it to me as she is already old. I was alone at home and had no one to talk to whenever my mother and father went to work. Not until Brody came into our lives, he made me forget about longing for a sibling. He brings joy and adds color to our home.
Brody's whereabouts
Brody was given to me by a friend of a friend. He was still a puppy when he came into our lives. He is an Aspin dog, given to me right after my mother's birthday. He was so naughty, liked to bite everything he saw or reached, loved to play, was very clingy, and loved to bark even if he didn’t yet know how to bark. He is a nocturnal dog; he sleeps in the morning and zooms in and out of the house at night. What he loves the most is going out to play with other dogs and sometimes fighting with them.
As time went by and he grew older, Brody became a bright dog. I patiently taught Brody some tricks until he mastered them. He knows how to high-five, jump, and bark as a response. He usually tilts his head whenever he hears the words "out,” "eat,” and “Who is that coming?" He listens whenever you talk to him as if he understands what you are saying. Every time we go out, we entrust the house to him, since he will bark whenever he sees an unfamiliar person. He patiently waits and smells everything we bought the moment we return home as if he is looking or expecting that we brought his favorite treat, which is chicken. He also greets us with a smile on his face and keeps wagging his tail.
We usually go for a walk every morning, but when I have work, I am unable to walk him every morning; my father or mother does it instead. He knows the time for his walk: 4 a.m. In the morning, he wakes up and taps my father or mother. When he realizes that tapping is not effective, then he starts howling and making enough noise for them to wake up.
One thing about Brody is that he also loves to swim and walk in the rain. Whenever I have a rest day from work, I am the one who walks with Brody. We wake up at 4 a.m. to go to “Pajara Beach” to witness the sunset and for him to bathe in the seawater. I also join him in walking or running under the rain until we get wet, and then we bathe when the rain stops.
There are some days that we let Brody go out to play with other dogs. He comes home with bruises and cannot walk properly; he probably got them from fighting with other dogs.
There was this one time, when we let him go out for a walk alone, off-leash, and one of our neighbors reported to us that Brody had bitten someone because that person had provoked Brody. He chased Brody with a knife and tried to stab him, but luckily, Brody had tall legs and ran as fast as he could to get rid of the person who wanted to hurt him. As we checked on that person, we found out that he was mentally unstable. It was also fortunate that when Brody tried to bite him, he did not leave any bite marks or bruises. After that incident, we never let Brody out alone from our house and off-leash to avoid any other circumstances.
He is a picky eater; most neighbors know him and pet him when they see him. He is a lovely, energetic dog, and would make you smile even with his little actions. He receives so much love from many, especially from us. We treat him as family. He is well taken care of, loved, and protected. I hope he lives longer and that we can give him the best life possible while he is alive.
That is all for today. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my new blog. Have a great day and stay hydrated, everyone!
Just by seeing this, I miss my baby Mochi even more. 🥹 Thankfully, Brody was able to get away from the person who wanted to hurt him. Grow healthy, Brody! 🥰

I'm cynophobic, yes, but as a (former) cat lover, I understand and feel warm all over seeing your bond with Brody... Now I miss my cat as well... 😭
But so as long as he lives, definitely cherish all the time you have together (because let's face it: pets live shorter than us.
We'll definitely cherish every moment while we are still together. I’m pretty sure your cat misses you so much as well🥹
he's such a good boy i love how he gets close to my face everytime I approach him 🥹!
The next time you meet him, I’ll train him to bite you 😂

Upon reading this blog, I remember our late dog, Whitie. He was also a smart dog; we never put a leash on him because he's so behave and discipline. He usually goes out to our neighborhood to stroll, but one day, he never came back. We searched for him and we found out his corpse on the bushes. He was poisoned and I'm really sad and also angry that time. Some people really don't have compassion for animals, so I hope you'll protect Brody from those kind of people ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ...
I'm so sorry for what happened on your dog but I'm pretty sure he is living his life now. Will also do my best to give Brody the best on his remaining life🫶
