DRAWING LUNA - [ENG/ESP]

Hello friends and I hope you are having a great day.
As I mentioned in my introductory post, I really like to draw, I do it in my free time and I have never had any kind of professional education in this regard; only the teaching that my grandmother left me. Since I was a child I have liked the arts, making things, or taking things apart (that later I can't put back together again), I have always liked it a lot, but as time goes by, and thanks to the fact that we become adults and with responsibilities, we leave little by little certain hobbies that we really should keep throughout our lives. In this way we could leave technology a little bit and go back to the more human, more human chores.

Como les mencioné en mi publicación de presentación, me gusta bastante dibujar, lo hago en mis tiempos libres y nunca he tenido ningún tipo de educación profesional al respecto; solo la enseñanza que me dejó mi abuela. Desde niña me han gustado las artes, hacer cosas, o desarmar cosas (que después no puedo volver a armar), siempre me ha gustado mucho, pero a raíz del tiempo, y gracias a que nos volvemos adultos y con responsabilidades, dejamos poco a poco ciertos hobbies que en realidad deberíamos conservar a lo largo de nuestra vida. De esta manera podríamos dejar un poco la tecnología y retomar los quehaceres más de piel, más humanos.

With my lack of time, but with encouragement, I try to (sometimes, very sometimes) forget the earthly world and immerse myself in my inner world, and just draw or do anything with my little hands. The construction of the attic is a vivid example of those moments where I go away and just put my attention 100% in those moments. I concentrate so much that sometimes the day goes by and I don't remember that I haven't eaten.

Con mi falta de tiempo, pero con ánimo, trato de (a veces, muy a veces) olvidar el mundo terrestre y sumergirme en mi mundo interior, y solo dibujar o hacer cualquier cosa con mis pequeñas manos. La construcción del ático es un vivo ejemplo de esos momentos donde me voy y solo pongo mi atención al 100% en esos momentos. Tanto me concentro, que hay veces que pasa el día y no me acuerdo que no he comido.

This drawing is one of those lapses and fractions of time that I dedicate to my activities, I mostly like to draw faces and in graphite pencil. I'm not very good with color, although the truth is because I haven't put myself to it. Luna was an attempt at drawing, and it's more complicated because she is white, and it's even more difficult for me to draw the corresponding shadows because otherwise it would be something white without form and with spots.

Este dibujo es uno de esos lapsus y fracciones de tiempo que me dedico a mis actividades, me gusta más que todo dibujar rostros y en lápiz de grafito. No se me da mucho el color, aunque la verdad es porque no me he puesto. Luna fue un intento de dibujo, y se me hace más complicada porque ella es blanca, y me cuesta más aún sacarle las sombras correspondientes porque sino sería algo blanco sin forma y con manchas.

I grabbed a sheet of white letter-size paper and my HB graphite pencil because I didn't have anything else. First I made the outlines that I considered most important to structure her beautiful face. With that I had a base from which to start filling in the shadows. For the scale, I took the pencil as a reference and with my fingers I transferred the measurements to the sheet of paper.

Agarré una hoja de papel blanco tamaño carta y mi lápiz de grafito HB porque no tenía más que ese. Primero hice los contornos que consideré más importantes para estructurar su hermoso rostro. Ya con eso tenía una base por dónde empezar a rellenar las sombras. Para la escala, agarraba el lápiz como referencia y con los dedos iba trasladando las medidas a la hoja de papel.

Then I simply went from left to right so as not to mess up the drawing with my hands, filling in all the most important shadows and then I just had to add more details. Remember that I'm not a professional, I do it as a hobby in my little free time. I hope you liked it!

Luego simplemente iba de izquierda a derecha para no ensuciar el dibujo con mis manos, rellenando todas las sombras más importantes y luego solo debía agregarle más detalles. Recuerden que no soy profesional, lo hago por hobbie en mis pocos tiempos libres. Espero les haya gustado!
