Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and that this week is going great.
In September last year, my partner calls me and says, "I rescued a cat! It just came up to me, it was all greasy."
My answer was: Oh my God... The truth was not for bad, but because I had to accommodate her space in the apartment and be prepared to take care of another living being, because although some do not see it that way, they are part of the family and are like other children, they are beings full of love, who live by and for us. So that same day she bathed her, dried her and she had changed completely. Days later we had to do the paperwork to bring her to the city where we live because on top of everything, the kitten was in another city far from our home.

En septiembre del año pasado, mi pareja me llama y me dice: “Rescaté un gato! Es que se me acercó a mí, estaba toda llena de grasa.”
Mi respuesta fue: Oh por Dios… La verdad no fue por mal, sino porque tenía que acomodarle su espacio en el departamento y estar preparada para cuidar a otro ser vivo, porque aunque algunos no lo vean así, ellos son parte de la familia y son como otros hijos, son seres llenos de amor, que viven por y para nosotros. Así que ese mismo día la bañó, la secó y había cambiado por completo. Días después debíamos hacer el trámite para traerla a la ciudad donde vivimos porque además de todo, la gatica estaba en otra ciudad lejos de nuestra casa.
At the airport everything was in order, we paid 30$ for her transfer on the plane and she traveled a little nervous, in fact from her stress she hurt her nose and it peeled a little. When I arrived I went to pick her up at the airport and everything was normal, when I saw her I thought she was so beautiful, she was not even 2 months old, she was white with black, and her nose was like a heart. My dog sniffed her a lot and then just ignored her, the truth is that my dog is not aggressive at all, and cats like to chase them, but if they don't run, she gets bored and leaves them alone. When she got home she started sniffing everywhere, we had previously bought her a little box to be her bathroom, so it was not difficult for her to adapt to that. The first few days she hid, and could not hear the knock on the door because she hid anywhere, in fact one day she hid behind the kitchen furniture for 1 full day and part of the other, we thought she was lost and we started looking for her all over the building, we even put a communication through the WhatsApp groups of the building in case she was seen.
Llegado el día, se le sacaron sus papeles y se le buscó todo lo necesario para traerla, en el aeropuerto todo en orden, se pagó 30$ para su traslado en el avión y viajó un poco nerviosa, de hecho de su estrés se lastimó la nariz y se le peló un poco. Al llegar fui a buscarla al aeropuerto y todo normal, al verla me pareció tan hermosa, no tenía ni 2 meses, era blanca con negro, y su nariz era como un corazón. Mi perrita la olió mucho y luego ya solo la ignoró, la verdad es que mi perrita no es agresiva en lo absoluto, y los gatos les gusta para perseguirlos, pero si no corren, se aburre y los deja quietos. Al llegar a casa empezó a oler por todos lados, ya previamente le habíamos comprado una cajita para que fuese su baño, por lo que no le fue difícil adaptarse a eso. Los primeros días se escondía, y no podía escuchar que tocaran la puerta porque se escondía en cualquier lado, de hecho un día se escondió detrás de los muebles de la cocina por 1 día completo y parte del otro, pensábamos que se había perdido y empezamos a buscarla por todo el edificio, hasta pusimos un comunicado por los grupos del WhatsApp del edificio por si la veían.
On the third day, we were going out and we heard a meow in the distance, we looked at each other's faces to see if we had not hallucinated it, but no, we had heard it at the same time and we started to look for more, until I looked behind the fridge and there she was, in the distance. I pulled her out and she was dusty but fine. That day she ate everything she had never eaten in her life and we carried on as normal.
Al tercer día, íbamos a salir y escuchamos a los lejos un maullido, nos vimos a la cara a ver si no lo habíamos alucinado, pero no, lo habíamos escuchado al mismo tiempo y empezamos a buscar más, hasta que me asomé por detrás de la nevera y estaba ella, a los lejos. La saqué y estaba llena de polvo pero bien. Ese día se comió todo lo que no había comido en su vida y seguimos con normalidad.
At home she got along well with Luna (my dog), and in fact she scared her sometimes, she jumped on her and didn't leave her alone, my dog runs away from her. But they both get along very well, sometimes they eat from the same dish. Also sometimes I take her for a walk in the garden, or I have even taken her to the supermarket, her favorite place in the house, the stairs, she puts herself right where the direct air conditioning hits her and there I guess she does her meditations. She also sometimes lies on my lap or gets on the night table and she sleeps in strange ways, but as they say that cats are jugglers and contortionists, I leave her alone in her world.
En casa se llevaba bien con Luna (mi perrita), y de hecho la asustaba a veces, le saltaba encima y no la dejaba en paz, más bien mi perrita le huye. Pero ambas se llevan muy bien, a veces comen del mismo plato. También a veces la llevo a pasear al jardín, o hasta la he llevado al supermercado, su lugar favorito de la casa, las escaleras, se pone justamente donde le pega el aire acondicionado directo y ahí supongo que hace sus meditaciones. También a veces se acuesta en mis piernas o se mete en la mesa de noche y la verdad duerme de maneras extrañas, pero como dicen que los gatos son malabaristas y contorsionistas, pues la dejo tranquila en su mundo.
In conclusion, she has been a good companion for my dog and with her craziness, she makes us laugh many times. They say that cats are hateful, but I have had several, it depends on their personality since they were little. I have had very hateful cats, as well as very loving cats. So all those myths I think are false, it goes in the education that you give him.

En conclusión, ella ha sido una buena compañía para mi perrita y con sus loqueras, nos hace reír muchas veces. Dicen que los gatos son odiosos, pero yo que he tenido varios, va a depender de su personalidad desde pequeños. He tenido gatos muy odiosos, como gatos muy amorosos. Así que todos esos mitos creo que son falsos, va en la educación que le des.

Que belleza, ame su corazón en la nariz, se parece mucho a mi gata, es igual en blanco y negro. Estos gatos son muy especiales, hace poco descubrí que se llaman Tuxedos. Morí de ternura con las fotos junto a la perrita ❤
