I have two Angora cats, a gift from my uncle, coincidentally he works abroad in a private Turkish state company, my uncle brought the cat home around 2009, and at that time the Angora cat was still small. Now they are big and mature, and become part of our family.
Gift giving has a reason. I'm actually one of many cat lovers, and I have my reasons for that. Why? The reason is, while still in high school, once hit a pet cat, at that time was driving a two-wheeled vehicle, as a means of transportation to go to school, the fateful incident happened instantly, two wild domestic cats were fighting for a female, while they were busy fighting (routine before mating), suddenly one of them ran to the location of a running vehicle, suddenly trazzz, happened! 😢, I hit the poor animal, apparently the cat died instantly on the spot.
Didn't have time to help him, because the lower part of the body was crushed, caused by the heavy impact of the engine part, at that time I myself fell and felt pain in every joint of my body. So that I was unable to help or hold it, I was very sad 😢 to see the situation, simultaneously the people who were in that location immediately gave me help.
Since then, I feel very sorry and happy to see every cat, be it a domestic cat or an Angora cat. This feeling of guilt is carried over in daily personal life, feelings of anxiety continue to haunt every step of learning activities and other activities. So that this situation is understood and felt by uncle. To reiterate this situation, he gave two female Angora cats, with the aim of quickly disappearing the trouma feeling from my memory. This Angora cat was brought home from his work location, namely from a faraway country, Turkey.
🐈 I gave two names that are easy to remember and pronounce 🐈
As we all know, in order for every object to be easily recognized and understood, it must have a name, and this continues to happen in every life, that is, every creature must have a special name, while my favorite cat is named Derna and Derni, these names have no special meaning, because the sentence is not an official sentence, or a sentence cut into two parts, I deliberately gave this so as not to sound like a human name.
Choosing those two names, it doesn't sound like calling a human name, and besides in our area there is no such name, so I chose the two names that have stuck to it to this day.
Derna is a cat that has a gray color, while Derni has a reddish yellow pattern and color, between the two only Derna who often feels at home in the room of the house, while Derni often likes the location in front of the house. These two different behaviors make them seem to have different feelings for each other, be it their hobbies or other visible characters, in their daily lives.
🎐 His daily character makes us always love him 🎐
Even though they have different hobbies, their true nature looks the same, they are a kind of cat that is intelligent in attracting the heart of its master, its intelligence in attracting someone's attention makes you have to be patient in dealing with it, one of the original characters, often seeking the attention of others. They understand that if we love him, if we look at people who are close to him and like him, it will show his spoiled behavior, as if he understands the wishes of his master, and also understands everyday language in communicating with him. Derna who often likes to linger is a cat who often spoils the red carpet, for some reason she really likes to play with the softness and comfort of a carpet. So that each side or end of the carpet becomes damaged or the side threads come out randomly. This is due to claws and biting his mouth while playing.
While Derni, often likes to be in front of the house, this one also has a different hobby, he often pays attention to passing vehicles, sometimes because his attention is focused on moving objects, he falls asleep alone. Derna seems to have professional instincts, her nature looks very mature in understanding our family situation, if the family gathers in the living room then the two of them always join or join us. So in this case, they get our affectionate caress, as if they are also our younger siblings who always want to be pampered and caressed.
If one of our family ignores his presence, it will automatically take action or take actions that ultimately want to get attention. This is shown by the way, they will sneak up and get under the carpet, thus creating a noisy atmosphere, and can make the relaxed atmosphere uncomfortable, when that happens, our family is certainly very aware of all these actions, then grabs them and puts them in their arms, like a child who wants to be loved. Actually the act of sneaking up on the carpet is just bait for us to pay attention to it and that's what they want, having to keep an eye on it all the time. Uniquely, they understand that when they enter their spare time, after dinner, our family gathers in one living room while watching television, and then they act. By making a fuss, and our family understood their purpose, which was to want to hug and hug them. What a very intelligent cat, in his body language.
If we look deeper, it turns out that caring for her is not that difficult if we love her, my job is only to make her, feed her, and comb her fur, and one more thing, always want to be held. Some of these main tasks, can make them comfortable and at home in our family, and get used to communicating in our own language, such as commanding, forbidding, and some everyday languages in daily activities.
🧐 Derna and Derni, have a higher jealousy 🤔
The attitude of jealousy and also wanting to dominate every area that has become a territory, is not only seen from the human character, but also from the character of the animal, especially our cat. Because we often see this behavior coming from them. It is known that if there is a wild domestic cat that visits our house, it will automatically hear a boisterous sound from the domestic cat. It didn't take long, suddenly a wild domestic cat ran out of the house, then behind them Derna and Derni were seen chasing the intruder.
I myself know very well, for situations like that, because this incident not only happened once but has happened many times, so that with their presence here, every stray cat that rarely visits our house. Even if a domestic cat enforces its will, it will always have the same fate, that is, it is always driven out and expelled in its territory or environment. Uniquely, Derna and Derni only pursue and protect the territory until the limit is still at the front door. When the mission is complete or after doing the task, they will walk and go back into the house. So far, it has been seen that they are often indoors, rarely playing outside. Maybe this behavior occurs because our house is on the side of the road, as a public lane for vehicles that always pass by at all times, we also forbid them to play outside the house because the conditions are not good for their safety.
We are happy, he is just there and playing in the location we want, hopefully they understand all our wishes, who are always and remain at home, we are afraid if they play outside the house, because of my past story, which accidentally happened to a cat domestic who is fighting with his opponent, when he wants to grab the female. We also don't want the same thing to happen to them. Always healthy Derna and Derni, I hope you all feel at home here in this house, and that house will also be a part of your home.
