Cleo is pretty and I love how her fur looks healthy. How often do you bring them for grooming and vet visits? I tried to bring mine at least once every two weeks but not sure if that's excessive. My oldest cat lived up to 14 years and died of old age. We were really sad to let her go and even now, my family still mistakenly calls our newly adopted cat as our old cat's name.
She is a lovely little thing indeed. I don't take her for grooming visits actually, she's never had one. She gets brushed every day though, she loves it, and occasionally gets a clip here and there, but that's rare. My sister in law is a vet nurse and dog/cat groomer and thought she lives many thousands of kilometres away, she's been here a few times and says Cleo is doing well, no grooming required other than what I'm doing. (Cheaper for me. Lol)
I can tell you love your cat and that's exactly how it should be. They deserve it because they give us so much back, just by being there. Just on the name thing...I sometimes find myself talking about my cats that I've lost as if they're still around. It makes me happy and sad at the same time. You know?
