Hello friends, it's been a while since I've posted something in this beautiful community, but today I want to share with you a story of sincere love, of reciprocal love, of the priceless treasure that my cousin has in her home, I'm talking about the love of her pets.
Hola, amigos, tenía tiempo que no publicaba algo en esta preciosa comunidad, pero hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una historia de amor sincero, de amor recíproco, del tesoro invaluable que tiene mi prima en su hogar, me refiero al amor de sus mascotas.
Let me put you a little bit in context, a few days ago I went to the town where my dad was born and raised, there also lives part of my paternal family, we went to visit one of my cousins in her home and I was happy to see that they had some pets that I had not seen before, first of all I will tell you about Merlina, she is a nice kitten of only four months old, she is quite cheerful and playful, I think she has not yet acquired the typical arrogance of adult cats because her look is quite sweet. I love her big ears and her bulging eyes, I think they give her a tender appearance.
Déjenme ponerlos un poco en contexto, hace unos días fui al pueblo donde nació y se crio mi papá, allá también vive parte de mi familia paterna, fuimos a visitar a una de mis primas en su hogar y me alegró ver que tenían algunas mascotas que yo no había visto antes, en primer lugar les hablaré de Merlina, ella es una simpática gatita de tan solo cuatro meses de edad, es bastante alegre y juguetona, creo que todavía no ha adquirido la arrogancia típica de los gatos adultos porque su mirada es bastante dulce. Amo sus grandes orejas y sus ojos saltones, creo que le dan una apariencia tierna.
I can't see a pet without showing love, it's something inevitable for me, so I immediately took her on my lap to pet her and play with her a little, I thought she would resist because cats tend to be a bit wary of strangers, but she instead received my caresses with pleasure and even licked my hand, I think animals are able to perceive human emotions, Merlina knew that I love cats and for that reason we made a connection immediately.
Yo no puedo ver una mascota sin demostrarle amor, es algo inevitable para mi, así que inmediatamente la subí a mi regazo para acariciarla y jugar un poco con ella, pensé que se resistiría porque los gatos suelen ser un tanto recelosos con los extraños, pero ella en cambio recibió mis caricias con mucho agrado e incluso lamió mi mano, pienso que los animales son capaces de percibir las emociones humanas, Merlina sabía que yo amo los gatos y por esa razón hicimos conexión de inmediato.
My cousin says that Merlina plays a lot with the children in the house, she especially likes to play with marbles, bouncing them and then chasing them.
Mi prima dice que Merlina suele jugar mucho con los niños de la casa, le gusta en especial jugar con canicas, las hace rebotar para luego perseguirlas.
But without a doubt what I enjoyed the most was when I saw Mila, it's a pity I couldn't take a picture of her because she is very surly and left quickly. Mila is a little dog that came to my cousin's house when she was pregnant, she liked that place because my cousin has a huge yard, full of many fruit trees, so from time to time she would go to rest under the shade of one of them, she was always very suspicious and everyone thought that maybe it was because she had probably been mistreated in her old home, or maybe she had not even had a home before, nor had she received love, only mistreatment being in the street.
Pero sin lugar a dudas lo que más disfruté fue cuando vi a Mila, es una lastima que yo no pudiera tomarle una fotografía porque es muy arisca y se marchó rápidamente. Mila es una perrita que llegó a casa de mi prima estando embarazada, le gustaba ese lugar porque mi prima tiene un patio enorme, lleno de muchos árboles frutales, así que de vez en cuando iba a descansar debajo de la sombra de alguno de ellos, siempre fue muy recelosa y todos pensaban que tal vez se debía a que probablemente la hubiesen maltratado en su antiguo hogar, o quizá ni siquiera haya tenido un hogar antes, ni hubiese recibido amor, solo maltrato estando en la calle.
On one occasion, while my cousin was in the yard, she heard a strange but tender noise, it was like puppies crying, so she followed the direction of the sound and in this way she arrived behind a tree, it was not a very accessible place, but maybe that was the reason why Mila had decided to give birth there, imagine the surprise that my cousin got when she saw the puppy with her litter of puppies there. When my cousin told me this story I wanted to go and see them, taking advantage of the fact that Mila was not there, because as I told you, she is very suspicious and my cousin even told me that she gets aggressive when someone tries to take one of her puppies, and that is the reason why my cousin has not been able to move the dog and the puppies indoors.
En una ocasión, mientras mi prima estaba en el patio, escucho un ruido raro pero tierno, era como llantos de cachorros, entonces ella siguió la dirección del sonido y de esta forma llegó hasta detrás de un árbol, no era un lugar muy accesible, pero quizá esa fuera la razón por la cual Mila había decidido dar a luz allí, imaginen la sorpresa que se llevó mi prima cuando vio a la perrita con su camada de cachorros ahí. Cuando mi prima me contó esta historia yo quise ir a verlos aprovechando que Mila no estaba, porque como ya les dije, ella es muy recelosa e incluso mi prima me dijo que ella se pone agresiva cuando alguien intenta tomar a uno de sus cachorros, y esa es la razón por la cual mi prima no ha podido trasladarla a ella y a los cachorros hacia el interior de la casa.
Yo no pude tomar uno de ellos, se veía tan tierno y delicado, era gordito, suave y precioso, morí de ternura nada más con acariciar a ese pequeño bebé 😊. Aún no abren los ojos, lo que significa que están demasiado pequeños todavía.
I couldn't take one of them, he looked so tender and delicate, he was chubby, soft and precious, I died of tenderness just caressing that little baby 😊. They haven't opened their eyes yet, which means that they are still too small.
Unfortunately I didn't want to adopt one of them because they are already engaged, there was more than one person who fell in love with them when they saw them, so my cousin said that when they are a bit older and more independent from their mother, each one of them will go to a home with a family, and that is something that makes me very happy because it is quite probable that they will have better luck than Mila and this way they will not be suffering in the streets of the town, I only hope that their future owners know how to give them all the love and respect that they deserve, just as Mila could finally find a home where she is loved.
Lamentablemente me quedé con las ganas de adoptar a uno de ellos porque ya están comprometidos, hubo más de una persona que se enamoró de ellos cuando los vio, así que mi prima dijo que cuando estén un poco más grandes y estén más independientes de su madre, cada uno de ellos se irá a un hogar con una familia, y eso es algo que me pone muy feliz porque es bastante probable que tengan mejor suerte que Mila y de esta forma no estén sufriendo por las calles del pueblo, solo espero que sus futuros dueños sepan darles todo el amor y respeto que se merecen, así como Mila pudo encontrar finalmente un hogar donde la aman.

Yo también soy amante de los animales, si voy a un lugar y hay gatos y perros no puedo evitar demostrarles cariño. En sitios así me siento como en el paraíso. Merlina se ve muy dócil y cariñosa, imposible no acariciarla. Los perritos están recién nacidos, que bellos, tan inocentes, que bueno que ya les consiguieron hogar, una de las mayores preocupaciones cuando nacen.
