I would always spend the holidays with my family and other relatives. For the past five years, my dogs Koki and Tisha have been with me during family gatherings and several occasions but this year it’s different. With a new addition to the family, we now have three dogs.
It wasn’t easy having a new large dog after taking care of a small breed dog for over five years. Even larger than our other dog. It required patience especially if it’s a puppy. When we first had Bo, he was only as big as Koki. After 10 months, you can see how big he has grown. During the holidays, I go home to my grandmother’s house which is around 2 hours away from where I live because most of my relatives are residing there. I’m used to bringing Koki and Tisha there andit was easy for me to handle both of them. Koki being small and Tisha just a manageable size. But with Bo now in the picture, it was not easy but definitely worth it.
I had so much fun spending the holidays with my dogs and family. My relatives aren’t surprised anymore when they see me with my three dogs because they know I have to bring them on every trip I go on. I consider them as my family and would do anything for my dogs. Even though they give me a headache sometimes and LOVE to mess with my things, they keep me company when I’m alone and relieves my stress. I like to consider them as my siblings as I was born as an only child.
