Las travesuras de "Queen". │Queen's antics ᴥ My pet's diary.

La Reina de la casa está próxima a cumplir sus tres meses de vida, específicamente el 13 de junio. Me sigue impresionando lo rápido que continúa creciendo y cada día inventa nuevas travesuras. Antes, había mencionado que Queen era algo tímida cuando estaba en la calle y enseguida quería volver al departamento. Sin embargo, esas son cosas del pasado; ahora ella prefiere estar en la calle libre explorando, tomando el sol y buscando problemas también.

My pet “Queen” is close to completing her three months of life, specifically on June 13. I am still amazed at how fast she continues to grow and every day it invents new antics. Earlier, I had mentioned that Queen was a little shy when she was out on the street and immediately wanted to go back to the apartment. However, those are things of the past; now Queen prefers to be in the street free exploring, sunbathing and also looking for problems.

Miren a la reina tomando el sol de la mañana montada en un árbol, confieso que la primera vez que la vi subiendo sentí una mezcla de emociones entre orgullo y nervios. Me encanta contemplarla cuando ella se encuentra serena, pero a veces comienza a revelarse con sus travesuras que me ponen un poco ansiosa. Más adelante con la siguiente secuencia de fotos podrán entender de qué les hablo.

Look at the queen basking in the morning sun on a tree, I confess that the first time I saw her climbing I felt a mixture of emotions between pride and nerves. I love to watch her when she is calm, but sometimes she begins to reveal herself with her antics that make me feel a little bit anxious. Estas fotografías las capturé hace pocos días y recuerdo que por un momento todo se salió de control y ella continuaba subiendo hasta lo más alto del árbol… Yo comencé a sentir que no iba a poder bajar de regreso, entonces necesitaría como en las películas llamar a los bomberos para que vinieran a rescatarla (jajaja broma). No fue el caso y sigilosamente Queen pudo bajar hasta la mitad del árbol y yo luego la quité de inmediato.

I captured these photographs a few days ago and I remember that for a moment everything got out of control and she continued to climb to the top of the tree... I began to feel that I was not going to be able to go back down, so I would need like in the movies to call the firefighters to come and rescue her (hahaha joke). It wasn't the case and Queen was able to sneak down to the middle of the tree.

Aquí, en la primera foto Queen se encontraba encerrada en “el porche” mientras yo estaba limpiando. Pueden notar que se veía un poco desesperada por entrar y en ese sentido decidió comenzar a pasar entre los vidrios de la ventana. Yo no quise cerrarlos para que entrara brisa, pero ella aprovechó la situación. Queen logró pasar por ahí y yo estaba entre molesta y muerta de risa “eso no se hace mi pequeña traviesa”, recuerdo que fue lo que le dije.

Here, in the first photo Queen found herself locked in "the porch" while I was cleaning. You can see that she looked a bit desperate to get in and in that sense she decided to start passing between the windowpanes. I didn't want to close them to let in a breeze, but she took advantage of the situation. Queen managed to go through there and I was between annoyed and dead laughing "that is not done my little naughty", I remember that was what I said.

Oh mi Dios, mírenla marcando territorio, aunque a veces pienso que ella me envía un mensaje estilo “Mami, deja de estar tanto en la laptop y dame atención” o quizás “Oh, he encontrado en este lugar el calor perfecto para hacerlo mi trono y nadie me bajará”. Al final, no sé lo que está pensando, pero la verdad es que me divierte pensar en las posibilidades al respecto.

Oh my God, look at her marking territory, although sometimes I think that she sends me a message like “Mommy, stop being so much on the laptop and give me attention” or maybe “Oh, I have found in this place the perfect heat to make it my throne and no one will lower me”. In the end, I don't know what she's thinking, but the truth is that it amuses me to think about the possibilities in this regard.

Awww, mi bebé está en sus mejores momentos de relajación. Ella quedó con “la manía” de chupar la tela de mis camisas mientras estác encima de mí, como si yo realmente fuese su mamá. Al principio este hecho me incomodaba un poco porque no sabía exactamente por qué era. Sin embargo, estuve leyendo y pidiendo consejos de amigas que tienen gatos, entonces me dijeron que algunos de sus gatos grandes quedaron haciendo esto y que no es algo inusual.

Awww, my baby is in her best moments of relaxation. She was left with "the obsession" of sucking the fabric of my shirts while on top of me, as if I really was her mom. At first this fact bothered me a bit because I didn't know exactly why it was. However, I was reading and asking for advice from friends who have cats, then they told me that some of their big cats were left doing this and that it is not something too unusual.
