My Domesticated Animals at Home

in Hive Pets2 years ago

Life is truly a precious gift, filled with countless moments to cherish. I encourage you to enjoy every single one. I sincerely hope that everything in your life is going splendidly, my dear hivers!

One aspect of my gardening style involves raising a diverse array of animals right at home, treating each one with equal care and affection. This delightful practice brings immense fulfillment to my life, making every day truly invaluable. Witnessing their growth and progress fills me with true joy, reminding me that all the effort and sacrifices were extremely worthwhile.

As part of my daily routine, I make sure to nourish and care for these delightful domesticated creatures, ensuring their well-being. Among them are my cherished chickens, a growing brood as I have five hens that happily hatch their chicks.

Sometimes, these delightful creatures wander freely around the house, occasionally making their way inside to request a little food. Their lovable nature has led me to consider their beloved pets, bringing even more warmth and love into my life.

This time, the hen is diligently laying her eggs in the cozy nest. She gracefully descends only to nourish herself with food and water, but promptly returns to tend to her precious eggs.

Allow me to proudly show you the eggs within the nest, soon to hatch into adorable chicks. The nest itself was skillfully crafted using coconut leaves, woven into a charming basket.

Raising chickens within the comfort of our home brings many benefits to our family. It provides us with an additional source of income and sustenance. In times when our pantry is lacking, we can find solace in knowing that we can rely on our chicken, easily prepared to satisfy our hunger.

Living in the province grants us numerous opportunities for side ventures, and I have also taken the time to impart the knowledge of caring for our animals to my children. I am grateful for their unwavering support, as they willingly contribute to the well-being of our family.

These are my adorable goats! Aren't they just lovely? Each day, I happily take them to the fields to feed. I appreciate raising these animals because they are cost-effective in terms of their feed. They simply graze on grass and munch on leaves from the trees.

Her baby goats are both females who will one day become mother goats as well. It's truly delightful watching them enjoy their meal of grass.

Engaging in my daily tasks at home keeps my body energized, leaving no time for rest. I find immense joy in doing these activities, especially during my vacation. I believe that my animals are also happy because they receive proper care.

Now, let me introduce you to my mother pig, who is safely enclosed in her farrowing pen. This pen protects the piglets, as sometimes the mother pig can be careless when laying down. It's a special occasion as she has recently given birth to six piglets.

Since it has been 60 days since she gave birth, we have decided to separate the piglets into different pig pens. And we are waiting for her estrous cycle to give her artificial stimulation to become pregnant.

Our pig pen was built far from my house, so it's hard for us to have a water connection. We are very lucky to have a deep well 20 meters away from the pen.

Every day we get water from the deep well to clean the area of the pen and bathe the pig. I'm not stressed about taking care of all of these animals it keeps me motivated to do my obligations and keep pursuing survival.

That would be all, thank you for always being there on my blog. Until next time!

Wahhh, chickens that can freely walk inside the house? Wr have that tooooo, they even have names ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. Anyways you have a lot of animals at home. Taking care of them for sure is very satisfying just like what we feel to ours.

Some of them are in the chicken coop others are walking freely to look for food. They really give color to my day. Thank you @ruffatotmeee for your time in reading my blog.

Awnn!!! You're really a great farmer,
Rearing and taking good care of domestic animals is not an easy one because you must ensure their medication are given when due and also provide them with multivitamins for a healthy living.
I have a mini fish pond which I used a big bowl to construct just as I love farming but no enough land to make it big, every morning I make sure I change the water, give them food and their vitamins to see they are living healthy ,

I love your animal farm, especially the mother hen that laid eggs, I believe you'll sell the eggs and make money from it and I wish I can have a big compound or land so I can make my animal farming big.

Thanks for sharing I really appreciate the pictures and the work you're doing @simplybil

Thank you so much @cocoa.familypets, Yes I love taking care of my pets they add meaning to my life. I am happy to know that you get in touch with my blog.

When I saw the chicken, I was thinking of nilat-ang manok bisaya. Hehehe I used to raise goats too but when my parents got real busy, we needed to sell them. I had separation anxiety with the goats because I spent most of my time feeding them. Murag nahimong pet ba. Hehehe

Anyway, thank you for sharing this @simplybil 🥰
