Una de mis mejores amigas de la infancia es una compañera de la escuela, “Mercedes”, siempre intentamos reunirnos al menos para hablar aunque no con frecuencia, la pandemia no es buena, pero con medidas logramos pautar un café en su casa, esta vez fue gracioso porque aunque teníamos muchos temas pendientes hablamos de las mascotas.
One of my best friends from childhood is a schoolmate, "Mercedes", we always try to meet at least to talk although not often, the pandemic is not good, but with measures we managed to pause a coffee at her house, this time it was funny because although we had many pending issues we talked about pets.

Comenzamos a recordar anécdotas de muchas mascotas que hemos tenido, porque la verdad es esa, nuestras mascotas forman parte de nuestra vida, de los recuerdos, de las cosas lindas. Y hasta de un día de recordar, entre amigas.

Mientras conversábamos “Milo” se apoderaba del sofá, es un pequeño gatito de mi amiga, lo adoptó después que quedara uno sólo de sus perritos en casa. Ella tiene tres hijas, todas enamoradas de este pequeño amiguito.
While we were talking "Milo" took over the sofa, he is a little kitten of my friend, she adopted him after there was only one of her puppies left at home. She has three daughters, all in love with this little friend.
Su nombre es porque existen unos caramelos llamados así, justo los que les encantan a nuestro pequeño felino.

La mayor parte de la tarde “Milo” se la pasó dormido, daba gusto verlo estirarse y voltearse de un lado a otro peo sin molestarse por nuestras risas ni voces.

Generalmente los gatos deben dormir catorce o dieciséis horas al día, muchas veces su mayor tiempo despierto es en las noches, por eso es que los felinos tienen tanta astucia en la oscuridad. Pero “Milo” no se ha enterado de esto, mi amiga dice que siempre está dormido.

Creí que no lo vería despierto, mientras pasaba el rato él había estado cumpliendo muy bien su rol de “gato”, pero para hacer mejor este día de recordar, entre amigas en compañía de “Milo”, él se despertó y nos miraba fijamente, logré fotografiarlo y luego se dumio nuevamente.
I thought I wouldn't see him awake, while I was hanging out he had been fulfilling his role of "cat" very well, but to make this day of remembering better, among friends in the company of "Milo", he woke up and stared at us, I managed to photograph him and then he went back to sleep.

Un consejo: debemos tratar de que los animales estén cómodos, dejarlos dormir, jugar con ellos cuando estén despiertos, porque si decidimos cuidarlos debemos hacerlo de forma consciente desde el corazón.❤
A piece of advice: we must try to make the animals comfortable, let them sleep, play with them when they are awake, because if we decide to take care of them we must do it consciously from the heart. ❤
