Holiis, hoy he decido hablarles sobre algunas de mis vivencias siendo madre de una perrita y una gatica.

Tanto a Susy como a Kara les encanta estar acompañadas, a ninguna de ellas le gusta estar sola, son felices con nuestra compañía (y nosotras con la de ellas), si nos vamos al cuarto y Kara queda solita en la sala comienza a llorar hasta que estemos en la sala con ella y esto es algo que pasa hasta en la madrugada, en ocasiones le basta con entrar al cuarto y ya, pero por lo general busca es que estemos despiertas. Ella puede dormir y todo plácidamente siempre y cuando nos escuche por ahí. En cambio Susy, no le importa en qué parte de la casa nos encontremos, ella estará ahí con nosotras, acostada, encima de las piernas o a nuestro lado, ella simplemente nos sigue a todos lados. En los momentos donde debemos ir a trabajar, ellas se hacen compañía mutuamente y lo que hacen es dormir todo el rato hasta que estamos de vuelta a casa.

Both Susy and Kara love to be accompanied, neither of them likes to be alone, they are happy with our company (and we with theirs), if we go to the room and Kara is alone in the living room she starts to cry until we are in the room with her and this is something that happens even in the early morning, sometimes it is enough for her to enter the room and that's it, but usually she looks for us to be awake. She can sleep and everything peacefully as long as she can hear us out there. Susy, on the other hand, doesn't care where we are in the house, she will be there with us, lying down, on our legs or next to us, she simply follows us everywhere. In the moments when we have to go to work, they keep each other company and what they do is sleep all the time until we are back home.

Por otro lado, Kara es feliz en libertad, ella entra y sale del apartamento a su gusto y antojo mientras que Susy solo sale de casa acompañada por alguna de nosotras y si la puerta está abierta, sale sólo si la invitamos, de lo contrario se queda en casa con cara de tristeza.

On the other hand, Kara is happy in freedom, she enters and leaves the apartment as she pleases while Susy only leaves the house accompanied by one of us and if the door is open, she leaves only if we invite her, otherwise she stays at home with a sad face.

A Susy le encanta que se le dé cariño y se le consienta a toda hora en cambio Kara solo recibe amor cuando ella quiere, ya que se acerca a nosotras buscando ser acariciada, pero esto no dura mucho la verdad, ya que en cuestión de unos pocos minutos se cansa y se aparta de nuestro lado.

Susy loves to be loved and pampered at all times, but Kara only receives love when she wants it, as she approaches us looking to be caressed, but this does not last long, because in a matter of a few minutes she gets tired and leaves our side.

Susy se estresa con facilidad cuando Kara se coloca inquieta o a jugar, ella es feliz con que Kara este durmiendo tranquilita, de lo contrario se estresa y le ladra hasta que se queda quieta, aunque a veces esto forma parte de su rutina de juegos, ya que cuando Susy se encuentra tranquila, Kara se acerca y le da un pequeño golpe con su cabeza o con sus patitas le toca el pelo, cosa que irrita a Susy.

Susy gets stressed easily when Kara gets restless or playful, she is happy with Kara sleeping quietly, otherwise she gets stressed and barks until she is still, although sometimes this is part of her play routine, because when Susy is calm, Kara comes and gives her a little bump with her head or with her paws touches her hair, which irritates Susy.

Kara no puede ver que se le dé algo de comer a Susy ya que inmediatamente se acerca y comienza a oler la boca de Susy para ver que está comiendo, es más ella siempre esta pendiente de que esta haciendo Susy.

Kara can't see Susy being given something to eat as she immediately goes over and starts sniffing Susy's mouth to see what she is eating, in fact she is always looking to see what Susy is doing.

A Kara le encanta jugar con cartones, los despedaza, esto es otra de las cosas que molesta a Susy, así que nos toca decirle que la deje jugar.

Kara loves to play with cardboard, she tears it to pieces, this is another thing that bothers Susy, so we have to tell her to let her play.

A ninguna de las dos les gusta acostarse en el piso, así que si no se acuestan en el mueble, buscan la alfombra y allí pasan sus ratos.

Neither of them like to lie on the floor, so if they don't lie on the couch, they look for the carpet and spend their time there.

Aunque aparentemente no se la llevan bien, en el fondo no pueden vivir sin la otra, ya que cuando alguna no está, se buscan.

Although apparently they don't get along well, deep down they can't live without each other, since when one of them is not there, they look for each other.

Cuando sacamos a orinar a Susy, Kara sale con nostras también a hacer sus necesidades y cuando llega el momento de regresar a casa, Kara corre para llegar de primera a la puerta y apenas abrimos, entra corriendo como para no quedar por fuera.

When we take Susy out to pee, Kara comes out with us to relieve herself and when it's time to go home, Kara runs to get to the door first and as soon as we open it, she runs in so as not to be left out.

Susy no es muy amiga que se diga de los vegetales, en realidad, no le gustan ni poquito a pesar de que por recomendaciones del veterinario debemos incluirlos en su dieta y en realidad eso intentamos pero ella los deja y ahí es cuando Kara aparece y se los devora, ella si es feliz comiendo vegetales inclusive crudos, le encantan!

Susy is not very friendly with vegetables, in fact, she doesn't like them even a little bit even though the vet recommends us to include them in her diet and we try to do so, but she leaves them and that's when Kara appears and devours them, she is happy eating vegetables even raw, she loves them!

Ah por cierto, cuando llegamos a casa Susy siempre nos recibe con mucho amor, se vuelve loquita de felicidad, Kara por su parte, nos mira de reojo y sigue durmiendo y si se despierta es para llorar pidiendo comida, le da igual si llegamos o no, lo importante es tener comida.

By the way, when we get home Susy always welcomes us with lots of love, she becomes crazy with happiness, Kara on the other hand, looks at us out of the corner of her eye and keeps sleeping and if she wakes up she cries for food, she doesn't care if we arrive or not, the important thing is to have food.

Como mencioné anteriormente, cada una es distinta a su manera, pero ambas nos llenan la vida de felicidad y de muchos pelitos también, en especial Kara xD.

As I mentioned before, each one is different in her own way, but both of them fill our lives with happiness and lots of little hairs too, especially Kara xD.

No podría imaginar mi vida sin ninguna de ellas, son parte fundamental de mi vida y parte también de mi impulso para continuar cuando algo me acongoja.

I could not imagine my life without any of them, they are a fundamental part of my life and also part of my impulse to continue when something distresses me.

Mi consejo para el mundo entero es muy sencillo… tengan una mascota, cualquier sacrificio que hagan por ellos no se compara con todo el amor que nos dan, su amor es incondicional y desinteresado (aunque a veces por el tema de la comida puede ser un poquito interesado), en ellos no hay maldad ni rencor, solo amor, son seres de luz, llenos de magia para hacer de nuestro mundo un mejor lugar, son tanto que en verdad a veces creo que no somos dignos de ellos.

My advice to the whole world is very simple... have a pet, any sacrifice you make for them does not compare with all the love they give us, their love is unconditional and selfless (although sometimes for the issue of food can be a little selfish), in them there is no evil or rancor, only love, they are beings of light, full of magic to make our world a better place, they are so much that sometimes I really think we are not worthy of them.
