I want to share with you how our dear Solo's growth is going and some of his antics. In this time, I have been watching his development and it is exciting to see how he is learning and changing day by day, he is almost the size of his father Coky.Greetings dear friends of the #hivepets community!
Quiero compartir con ustedes cómo va el crecimiento de nuestro querido Solo y algo de sus travesuras. En este tiempo, he estado observando su desarrollo y es emocionante ver cómo va aprendiendo y cambiando día a día, casi está del tamaño de su padre Coky.¡Saludos queridos amigos de la comunidad de #hivepets!
He is still quite naughty, but he is starting to understand the word “NO”. This small progress is giving me a great relief, since now he doesn't try to climb on the furniture and, when playing, he doesn't nibble as much as before. Little by little, Solo is understanding the limits and this has helped us to coexist better with him.
However, Solo still has his escapist spirit intact. Any fences put in his way end up being just a small temporary obstacle for him, and he always finds a way to escape, either by digging or pushing. Fortunately, his escapades are limited to the backyard of our house, and he doesn't go outside the boundaries of our land. Still, we prefer him to be in the yard under supervision, as he is very restless and always looking for new adventures.
One funny anecdote I want to share is that we had to move the chickens' feed sack around the house. He only discovered that he could get into the storage room and eat the chicken feed. We noticed this because one day when we went to give him his lunch, we noticed him swollen and chubby. When I asked my son if he had given him anything to eat, he said no, and that was the beginning of our search to find out what had happened. Finally, we realized that he had been eating the chicken feed stored in the warehouse. This mischief never happened with our other dogs, but Solo has a unique personality and is always looking for something new to explore.
Les cuento que aún sigue siendo bastante travieso, pero ya está comenzando a entender la palabra "NO". Este pequeño avance me está dando un gran alivio, ya que ahora no intenta treparse en los muebles y, al jugar, no mordisquea tanto como antes. Poco a poco, Solo está comprendiendo los límites y eso nos ha ayudado a convivir mejor con él.
Sin embargo, Solo aún tiene su espíritu escapista intacto. Todas las cercas que le pongan a su paso terminan siendo solo un pequeño obstáculo temporal para él, y siempre encuentra la manera de escaparse, escarbando o empujando. Afortunadamente, sus escapadas se limitan al patio trasero de nuestra casa, y no se sale de los límites de nuestro terreno. Aun así, preferimos que esté en el patio bajo supervisión, ya que es muy inquieto y siempre está en busca de nuevas aventuras.
Una anécdota curiosa que quiero compartir es que tuvimos que cambiar el saco de alimento de los pollos de lugar en la casa. Solo descubrió que podía entrar al depósito y comerse el alimento de los pollos. Nos dimos cuenta de esto porque un día, cuando fuimos a darle su almuerzo, lo notamos inflamado y gordito. Al preguntarle a mi hijo si le había dado algo de comer, me dijo que no, y ahí comenzó nuestra búsqueda para descubrir qué había sucedido. Finalmente, nos dimos cuenta de que se había estado comiendo la comida de los pollos guardada en el depósito. Esta travesura nunca ocurrió con nuestros otros perros, pero Solo tiene una personalidad única y siempre está buscando algo nuevo que explorar.
Despite his mischief, Solo is a very alert puppy. Anything that moves, be it a butterfly or a leaf, sets him barking tirelessly. It is impressive to see how attentive he is to everything going on around him.
Also, when he is sleepy, he goes straight to the carpet in the yard and waits patiently until we give him the command to go in and sleep on his towel.
A pesar de sus travesuras, Solo es un cachorro muy alerta. Cualquier cosa que se mueva, ya sea una mariposa o una hoja, lo pone a ladrar incansablemente. Es impresionante ver lo atento que está a todo lo que sucede a su alrededor.
Además, cuando tiene sueño, va directamente a la alfombra del patio y espera pacientemente hasta que le demos la orden de entrar a dormir en su toalla.
From time to time, we let Solo play with his mom Frida and dad Coky, but always under supervision. Frida is very protective and, if we are not careful, the play between Solo and Coky can end in a fight. Frida gets very angry when she sees that Solo does not leave Coky alone, although we know that Solo acts this way because he is still a puppy. But she gets angry with Coky, that is why the play between the three of them is supervised.
De vez en cuando, dejamos que Solo juegue con su mamá Frida y su papá Coky, pero siempre bajo supervisión. Frida es muy protectora y, si no estamos pendientes, el juego entre Solo y Coky puede terminar en una trifulca. Gracias querida Maria por tomarte tu tiempo y leer las anécdotas de mis mascotas. Frida es la líder y muy cariñosa, con ella no paso trabajo, es muy obediente, Coky llegó a casa joven y con hábitos desordenados, pero ya hace caso.
Pero cuando nació Solo se rompió el molde jajaja es travieso, no le gustan las normas y es un gran comilón. Con él tengo mucha paciencia y paso a paso irá aprendiendo, ya estamos viendo algunos avances en su educación.
