Introducing My Pets

in Hive Pets11 months ago

I just realized that I never really introduce my pets here. So now, I'll make an introduction about them.

Pets are generally companion animals. They give us company and love that can't be replace by anyone. During my days here at home, what I usually do is attend to them. Give them bath, feed, groom, and clean them. I also spent time with them.

We current have 4 loving pets at home. Two dogs and two cats. They are all male. Their names are Cooper, Micky, Taffy, and Shaun.

Cooper

I'd like to start with Cooper as he is the oldest among our pets. And eversince our previous pets were gone, he is the only one left. He is a mongrel dog (term referring to dogs whose breed cannot be easily determined. Technically, mixed breed.) I think he is already three years old now or older.

He is actually not ours, he was brought by my Uncle to be their pet. But since my cousins are staying with us during day time, they also had to bring Cooper here at our house cause no one will feed him at their house.

Later on, Cooper grew and considered our home his home. He is also now staying with us but from time to time he still visits my cousin's house. He is technically an adopted dog by us.

He is a very active and has a lot of girls. Hahaha! He also loves to walk around the neighborhood and sometimes gets to other places. That is how active he is. I can't imagine our lives without him. He has already been a family to us!

Micky

Next is Micky, our shih tzu. He is almost one year old and will celebrate his birthday with us in a few months! I wrote a blog about him before so if you're up to some digging on my old posts, you can find it.

This one is also energetic! I understand it since he is still a puppy. We'd do our late night walkies sometimes and oftentimes our afternoon walkies here in our street.

He is quite okay now as to how he looks before. I should probably save up for his birthday gift and maybe a cake. Oh how I love this pup! He is just a ball of sunshine.

Shaun/Shaunny

This one is a little bit aloof but is now getting out of his comfort zone. Shaun is almost two years old and will also be celebrating his birthday in a few months. Not very distant from Micky's birthday.

Right now he is currently looking for a girlfriend. He is very consistent in finding a mate every night. Non-stop meowing for him. Hahahaha! Maybe he knows that he will get castrated next month that's why he is trying hard to find his girl. Hahahaha!

Taffy

Last but definitely not the least is the most photogenic of all my pets, Taffy! It's not obvious that he is my favorite. Hahahaha! Taffy is big now compared when he first came in to us.

A little back story. When I was picking among the cats I want to adopt, he immediately caught my attention. For some, they would pick the furry ones but for me that time, I felt inlove with his cute little face.

Taffy is oozing with energy and runs a lot inside my room when I let him out of his cage. He is now 6 months old and will turn 7 next week! How time flies so fast.

I love all of my pets. They give me comfort that no else can. They are also my source of strength and inspiration to finish the college program that I am taking. I'll strive hard to give the life that they deserve.

I will just remind everyone to be RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS. That's all. Thank you for reading my blog!
