Hello pet lovers, these parakeets are known here in Venezuela as "dirty face parakeets", these two I am talking about had very different ways of being, the male was quiet and if you gave him a finger he could climb up to your shoulder, the female also but she did it mostly to take care of the male.
Hola amantes de las mascotas, estos periquitos son conocidos aquí en Venezuela como "periquitos cara sucia", estos dos de los cuales les hablo tenían formas de ser muy diferentes el macho era tranquilo y si le dabas un dedo podía subirse hasta tu hombro, la hembra también solo que ella lo hacía mas que todo para cuidar al macho.
They would walk around the house and if they liked you they would climb on you first the male and then the female would scratch your ears and they would let you take pictures of them and you can see how they pose in front of the camera lens. Something that pleased me is that these parakeets are known for being unfriendly but these were very tame, it must be because they are kept loose. The last thing I heard about them is that they were given away as their owners could not keep them, but without a doubt I had a great time that afternoon sharing with my friends' pets.
Se paseaban por toda la casa y si eras del agrado de ellos se te subían primero el macho y luego la hembra te rascaban las orejas y se dejaban tomar fotos en ellas pueden ver como posan ante el lente de la cámara. Algo que me agrado es que estos periquitos son conocidos por ser poco amigables sin embargo estos eran muy mansos, debe ser porque los tienen sueltos. Lo ultimo que me entere de ellos es que los regalaron ya que sus dueños no podían tenerlos, pero sin duda ese momento en esa tarde la pase muy bien compartiendo con las mascotas de mis amigos.🐦
