They are fighting alongside us. They are our true friends and helpers. Our dogs. This war was also their war. Tragedy in the Dnipro. Rescuers with dogs examined more than 500 square meters of territory. 500 sq m of fear, pain and death. From sensitive noses and ears shone salvation for those who survived in this hell, but ended up under the rubble of the building.
They burned their paws, they got tired and worked, worked, worked. So much pain in those dog eyes. They found so many dead bodies and they don't understand why they couldn't help. Maybe I'm a bad dog? It is very difficult to explain to them that it is not their fault. And that those who survived thanks to them will never forget them.
These pictures have spread all over the Ukrainian segment of the Internet. They are a reminder to everyone: drivers who refuse to let a dog in their car, landlords who demand "without a dog" and many others who are not ready to sacrifice even a drop of their comfort: Look! Perhaps tomorrow they will search for you under the rubble!
I understand you, it has happened to me, they have not let me ride with my dog in their cars, but I have found good people who have done it, I appreciate it very much. It has been a hard tragedy what you have told us and we see in the photos. How noble dogs are.
