Today I had one of the hardest days of my life! My mother, friend and I were having breakfast, at that time Lady had gone to the room and when she did not hear her voice, I went to the room out of curiosity and I was shocked after what I saw. There was a huge chocolate in my bag, he found it and took it out of my bag and ate it all. My hands and feet were shaking, I was incredibly scared, I called the vet immediately. The vet said to bring him here urgently, he said there may be a risk of death because chocolate is toxic to dogs. When I heard this, I was horrified and immediately took him to the vet.
There they gave him a liquid to induce vomiting, but he did not vomit. They had to give an anesthetic drug. When he took this medicine, he vomited immediately, thank goodness he was able to throw all the chocolate out. But he passed out with the effect of the drug. That was the hardest moment of my life! When I saw him pass out, I had a crying crisis and I was very, very sad. They did it right away and gave serum. He slept like this for an hour.
Then, when he opened his eyes a little, the doctor said that the open air would be good, so we took him to the veterinarian's garden. Here, too, he continued to sleep a little.
It made me incredibly sad to see him like this. She is a very active girl and very difficult to control. Fortunately, he recovered and we came home. He's still sleeping in bed right now. He will be at risk for two more days, but for now, the danger has passed. Our biggest advantage was to arrive early. I hope something like this will never happen again. I love him so much that he is sick, it is very sad for me. I love you beautiful girl!
First time I see that chocolate can be deadly to dog 🤔🤔🤔 I have dog who eats all . I have never seen something happens when it gets sweets . 🤔🤔
Dangerous enough to cause very dangerous sudden cardiac arrest! I never give chocolate, but he sneaked it out of my bag and ate it. Be careful, it's very dangerous🙏
I hope he is much better now. I never knew that chocolate is toxic to dogs. That's an experience, thanks @trouvaille for sharing this incident. Well, I am glad that you took the appropriate decision on time to save your pet.
Unfortunately for them, chocolate means poison. I was terrified, but at least he's fine now. Thank you for your nice comment🙏
Geçmiş olsun. İyi olmasına sevindim 🤲
Çok teşekkür ederim canım bu aralar bize birşeyler oldu anlamdım 🤷🙏💗
All animals that we love get deep into our hearts. So glad that you took the dog to the vet and I hope the dog continues to do well and has a very long and happy life.

Sorry, I'm not sure if your dog is a boy or a girl, but I wanted to express, how happy I am that s/he's ok. That can we so scary.
Our Holly munched a whole bar of chocolate while we were out. We stupidly left it on a table.. :(
Luckily did she throw up at the emergency vet straight away. All over my trousers. Haha
It was a very expensive bar of chocolate..
Glad you reacted so quickly! Well done!
