For over a year now we have had 6 cats, almost all of which are blood relatives, with the exception of one cat that we adopted when we moved to the city where we are currently. But I must say that it has not been easy to live with 6 cats in an apartment, with respect to their care, feeding and of course hygiene and cleanliness.
Actually, previously my wife and I only had two cats, and we never had plans to have more cats, because we know how difficult it could be in every sense, but due to carelessness on my part by not having neutered one of my cats, my cat Kira ended up getting pregnant despite the efforts we made to separate them when they were in heat. But it was inevitable when I just brought my cat Dio we noticed that Kira was pregnant, and well we had already thought about raising the cats for the first 2 months until they learned to eat to give them up for adoption, or at least that was the idea.

Months passed and Kira gave birth to 3 beautiful cats, 2 of which looked like Kira and Dio, while one cat was completely black. Since the birth of the 3 cats had a very healthy growth, there was never any problem and Kira was a very attentive mother, after 2 months of having grown it was time to give them up for adoption, but my wife had to go on a trip out of the country and I was busy with business at the time, so we agreed that when my wife returned we would have to look for new homes for the cats.
However, we became so fond of them that we came to the conclusion that we were going to keep them all permanently, apart from the fact that we had already adopted Kittie, who at first was very complicated to care for because she already had certain health problems, but little by little she overcame her illness. Even for a moment the vet who attended to Kittie recommended putting Kittie down, but seeing my wife's eyes watering when she heard that, I said that we should keep fighting to save the cat, and that's exactly what happened, for the moment she hasn't gotten any sicker.

Kira and Dio are the parents, where 3 cats were born, called Kiko, Ardilla and Blackie, also adding Kittie as part of this big family, which is undoubtedly a beautiful idea to have them all together, they know each other well and usually they are not as naughty as many might think, although sometimes it is difficult to cook because 3 of them get on top of me when I am in the kitchen.
On the other hand, of course we have been aware of their diet, usually I always have cat food for them and sometimes I vary their diet with vegetables like carrots or proteins like eggs or chicken, although it can't always be like that because it is very expensive to feed the 6 cats in that way, but we never give them food that could harm their health.

While their hygiene has not been a problem, as is well known cats are very neat, although of course one must constantly change their litter boxes, so that everything can be kept clean in the apartment, because it is a small and closed space, and it can be a problem with respect to the cats' urine and feces, but we are always aware of the cleanliness of it.
It is a beautiful experience, or at least I see it that way, they are all part of my family, although it can sometimes be a little complicated in certain ways one always seeks to overcome those obstacles, although both my wife and I would like to have a house with enough space for all of them to have somewhere to move, but for now we will all stay together as a big family that we are.

It was just a joke, I know how hard it is to take care of so many animals, especially cats that have a shorter heat period than dogs and you have to watch out for them to prevent them from getting pregnant again.
The important thing here is that you are happy to have them in your home and it shows how much love you have for them. Having a pet or more is the most beautiful thing there is. This is how humans learn the meaning of true unconditional love.
