Greetings @Hivepets community, today I present to you the last of my dogs that we have adopted in the family and that, to tell you the truth, I didn't think it would be like this. Here a little bit of his story.
One day Mrs. Mayela (the protectionist neighbor that I have been helping on some occasions) calls me, whom I had not seen for a long time, because of the pandemic and other things. She tells me that there is a dog with myiasis (worms) in his paws and that she will help her look for him, since he is one of the dogs from the litter that visit her for food. So, we went out, going through several areas, until we found him in an alley near my house.
There he was, in front of a house lying down, because he was in a lot of pain; so, we began to remove the worms, injecting a little Amitraz with water (about 1 cc per liter of water, it is very little Amitraz, a few drops) that makes it come out of the deep hole (We had no way to take him to the doctor, because of transportation issues) When we removed most of the worms, Mrs. Mayela did not know where to keep him, we both already had many animals at home, plus in my house I would not allow me another dog.

As some children were there helping us, she asked the family if they had a small space, just to keep it for 3 days. Of course they were hesitant, but ended up accepting. The next morning, the lady called me and told me that the family could not keep him anymore because he was going to eat the hen, this and that. We went there, where the dog was already outside. Previously, Mrs. Mayela had asked a friend of hers if she could keep him for a few days, and she ended up agreeing to it..
While she came with the car, we sheltered him on the porch of my house and then he was taken to the temporary home. We went every day to finish removing the worms, bathing him, giving him antibiotics and other care. However, a week later, the girl called that she could no longer keep him and other stories about a place, a kind of farm that the aunt had, the truth is that Mrs. Mayela did not like it, because he was still not recovered and she did not want to send him so far away.
But at the same time it was understandable that I could no longer have it, the space where they placed it was about 1 meter x 2, very small indeed. So, he started to talk about paying for a temporary lodging, so I told my sister, to which she offered, since I needed an extra income. If it were up to me, I would do it for free, but it's not my house, so it was up to my sister to convince my parents, who ended up agreeing to it.

The porch area was arranged, which is roofed and covered, the truth is a quite comfortable space, as it is ventilated and everything else. He had to be separated from the other 3, because there was a male, although Bethoven was very noble, my Angela is very territorial and defended the other 2. From there, he was given the necessary care, my sister was in charge of the treatments, while I, to give him food, however Mrs. Mayela was always aware at all times..

After a little less than 1 year, an adopter for Hércules (that's what the previous temporary home called him) came out, this saddened me a lot, because I had already become attached to him, but for my part, I already had 3 dogs to support and without a stable income, it was difficult for me. As soon as I told my sister about the adopter for Hercules, her reaction was not the best, she was even angry with me..

Approaching the date to take him, Mrs. Mayela tells me to go with her, which I refuse, it didn't hurt much. So, she comes to the house and talks to my sister; after talking and everything else, we end up adopting him. The best of all, is that the other adopter was not left empty-handed, because there was a dog just like Hercules but younger, that another protectionist was giving up for adoption. The gentleman did not care about the sex and the best thing is that she was already sterilized, her family received her with open hands. Thus, both ended up having a home..

My sister and I became very fond of him, and with him and Angela, we learned that we do not serve as a temporary home. He is currently fat, so he is on a diet, he is a very obedient and grateful dog, lazy as anyone and very spoiled.

Saludos comunidad de @Hivepets, hoy les presento al ultimo de mis perros que hemos adoptado en la familia y que, la verdad, no pensé que así sería. Aquí un poco de su historia.
Un día me llama la Señora Mayela (La vecina proteccionista que he estado ayudando en algunas ocasiones), quien no había visto por mucho tiempo, por el tema de la pandemia y demás cosas. Me comenta que hay un perro con miasis (gusanos) en sus patas y que la ayudará a buscarlo, pues es uno de los perros de la camada que le hacen visita para su comida. Entonces, salimos, recorriendo varias zonas, hasta encontrarlo en un callejón cerca de mi casa.
Allí estaba, frente a una casa acostando, pues le dolía mucho; así que, se le empezó a retirar los gusanos, inyectando un poco de Amitraz con agua (como 1 cc por litro de agua, es muy poquito Amitraz, unas gotas) eso hace que salga del profundo del hueco (No teníamos como llevarlo al médico, por tema transporte) Al retirarle la mayoría de gusanos, la Señora Mayela no sabía donde resguardarlo, ambas ya teníamos muchos animales en casa, además de que en mi casa no me iban a permitir otro perro.

Como estaban ahí unos niños ayudándonos, ella le pregunta a la familia si tenían un pequeño espacio, solo para resguardarlo por 3 días. Por supuesto estaban dudosos, pero terminaron aceptando. A la mañana siguiente, me llama la Señora y me dice que la familia no podía tenerlo más porque le iba a comer la gallina que esto que lo otro. Nos dirigimos hacia allá, donde el perro ya estaba afuera. Anteriormente, la señora Mayela le había preguntado a una amiga que si lo podía tener por unos días, la cual terminó accediendo.
Mientras ella venía con el carro, lo resguardamos en el porche de mi casa para luego ser llevado al hogar temporal. Fuimos todos los días a terminar de sacarle los gusanos, a bañarlo, darle los antibióticos y demás cuidados. No obstante, a la semana, llama la chica de que ya no podía tenerlo y otros cuentos ahí, de un lugar, como especie de granja que la tia tenía, la verdad la señora Mayela no le gustaba, pues aún no se recuperaba y no quería mandarlo tan lejos.
Pero a su vez era entendible que ya no podía tenerlo, el espacio donde lo ubicaron eran como de 1 metro x 2, muy pequeño la verdad. Así que, empezó a comentar de pagar un hospedaje temporal, así que le dije a mi hermana, a la cual ella se ofreció, ya que necesitaba una entrada extra. Si fuera por mi, lo haría de gratis, pero no es mi casa, por lo que a mi hermana le tocó convencer a mis padres, quienes terminaron accediendo.

Se arreglo la zona del porche, que está techada y cubierta, la verdad es un espacio bastante cómodo, ya que es ventilado y todo lo demás. Tenía que estar separado de los otros 3, porque había un macho, aunque Bethoven era muy noble, mi angela es muy territorial y defendía a cresta a los otros 2. A partir de ahí, se le dio los cuidados necesarios, mi hermana se encargaba de los tratamientos, mientras yo, de darle la comida, sin embargo la señora Mayela siempre estuvo al pendiente, en todo momento.

Transcurrido un poco menos de 1 año, sale un adoptante para Hercules (así fue como lo llama el anterior hogar temporal), esto me entristeció mucho, pues ya me había encariñado con él. pero por mi parte, ya tenia 3 perros que mantener y sin un sueldo estable, se me era difícil. En cuanto se lo comento a mi hermana del adoptante para Hércules, su reacción no fue la mejor, se puso hasta brava conmigo.

Acercándose la fecha de llevarlo, la señora Mayela me dice que la acompañe, lo cual me niego, no me dolía mucho. Así que, ella se acerca a la casa y habla con mi hermana; después de hablar y todo lo demás, terminamos por adoptarlo. Lo mejor de todo, es que el otro adoptante no se quedó con las manos vacías, pues había una perrita igual a Hércules pero más joven, que otra proteccionista estaba dando en adopción. Al señor no le importaba el sexo y lo mejor es que ya estaba esterilizada, su familia la recibió con las manos abiertas. Así, ambos terminaron por tener un hogar.

Mi hermana y mi persona, nos encariñamos mucho, y tanto con él como con Angela, aprendimos que no servimos como hogar temporal. Actualmente está gordo, por lo que está en dieta, es un perro muy obediente y agradecido, perezoso como nadie y muy consentido.
