Copita has always been a playful dog, despite her 10 years she has not lost her essence. She has a favorite stuffed animal, with which she used to play every afternoon. However, some time ago we noticed that something was not right, when she was going to grab her stuffed animal she would make a pain noise and run to hide, as if something was hurting her. I didn't know what it could be, I carefully checked her stuffed animal and didn't find anything strange, I thought she had just hurt her paw on something on the floor. Those episodes of pain when grabbing her toy were not very frequent, but as the days went by they became constant, even when she was walking. Until we noticed that it hurt when he ate, suspecting that it could be an oral problem. The next day the vet arrived and had to anesthetize her completely to examine her better.
Estábamos nerviosos, por el efecto de la anestesia en un perrito adulto, todo tiene su riesgo. Efectivamente era un molar, estaba en malas condiciones, había que extraerlo. Esperamos que estuviera completamente dormida y la veterinaria procedió, no fue nada fácil, copita se movía un poco. A pesar que sabía que no le estaba doliendo sentía ese dolor como mío. Después de minutos logró extraerla con éxito y aprovechando el momento le realizaron una limpieza bucal.
We were nervous, because of the effect of anesthesia in an adult dog, everything has its risks. It was indeed a molar, it was in bad condition, it had to be extracted. We waited until she was completely asleep and the vet proceeded, it was not easy at all, copita was moving a little. Even though I knew that it was not hurting her, I felt that pain as mine. After a few minutes she managed to extract it successfully and taking advantage of the moment she was given a mouth cleaning.
Este fue el molar que le estaba causando dolor, estaba en muy malas condiciones. A pesar que yo no le doy dulces, solo perrarina, cuando ella vivía con mis papás si comía de todo. Eso aunado a sus años hicieron que desarrollara caries es su molar.

Poco a poco fue despertando de la anestesia, mi mamá me llamó y ella al escuchar su voz movía solo su colita, luego con el paso de las horas se fue despertando completamente, cumplimos con su antibiótico y analgésicos. Hoy en día esta feliz corriendo por todo el apto.
Little by little she woke up from the anesthesia, my mom called me and when she heard my voice she only moved her little tail, then as the hours went by she woke up completely, we took her antibiotics and painkillers. Today she is happy running around the apartment.
¿Recuerdan que les comenté que cuando agarraba su peluche, sentía dolor? Eso era por su muela, claro. Pero a partir de ese día le tiene miedo, es increíble como los perritos no olvidan, ella piensa que su peluche favorito era el que le ocasionaba ese dolor insoportable. Poco a poco he ido jugando con ella, a veces juega con el, luego recuerda y se aleja. Pero estoy segura que volverá a tener confianza y retomará los juegos. Mientras tanto, sigue cazando tuqueques de mentira.
