Hi Hive Lovers,
This is just my hypothesis about the reason cats don't look human eyes after paying close attention to cat eyes and I've done it many times. The result is always the same, only 3 reactions;
(1) The cat closes its eyes, (2) The cat closes half of the eyelids, or (3) The cat looks away in another direction.
He never looks you in the eye, which means really looking at each other eye to eye.
In fact, cats don't really want to look people in the eye. Cats just don't want to stare for too long.
Cats don't stare into human eyes for too long because staring is a threatening act. He will not threaten you as a person who loves him.
All cats have sharp eyes, they are only used to attack prey or warn other cats or warn your family who have just arrived and are not recognized by your cat.
If you love your cat, then he will trust you. When you look at him, he will not look back at you. It tells you that he will not fight you.
Here are some photos of my white cat eye gaze:
Lessons Learned:
Don't stare at your cat, because you don't fully understand him yet!
Have you experienced the same or different things with me?

Looks like a lion in the last photos!
I didn't pay attention to it.
Does it look like a baby lion king?
