Sunday — Hive

When I was young Sundays were special to me.

Every Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon I used to go for football learning classes on summer days with one of my friends.

Sunday morning as my father was in the house, we had a special breakfast. My mother used to prepare new cuisine on Sunday breakfast.

It was different every Sunday.

As my school was closed on Sunday, late rising from the bed was allowed.

On winter days more or less every Sunday there was a cricket match. The ground was just opposite of my residence.

I was a key member of my local club team, so, from nine o'clock I was busy with a cricket match and my mother used to watch from the window.

Sometimes, my father also watched the match.

Lunch on Sundays was also heavy. Always there was a special menu on Sunday. Mutton was common on Sundays.

Sunday morning used to do to market with my father to purchase fresh vegetables, fish, and mutton.

At the time of college, Sunday evening was movie time. We used to watch a new movie with friends.

After employment, Sunday becomes a day to look forward. As it is a normal holiday Sunday becomes a day for lethargy.

As I am not habituated to go to market, so, that pressure is not with me on Sundays.

Today, being Sunday, I got up early for morning work. Took some photographs of the clear sky from the rooftop.

Today lunch was also heavy with different types of menu.

In the afternoon took a little nap which is rare nowadays.
