Hive made it to the top of decentralised social for a bit, but Bl-rt is up there again thanks to a lack of negative reviews. I did leave one of those for St--m, but not making it a habit. A few more positive Hive reviews will do no harm and show that we have real community spirit.
The Bl-rt people do like to trash-talk Hive, but then some of them were caught out abusing it. Others got caught in the cross-fire of dealing with people like rancho and lost their shit over that. Hive cannot really afford to lose good people and so we have to find the tricky balance between nurturing those who add value and dealing with those who try to cheat. Like it or we have opinionated whales who will happily trash an account they dislike without feeling the need to give reasons. That is part of the freedom Hive offers.
