Yeah I see that a fair bit too, people kind of allowing themselves to be burned out because they're not getting many upvotes or whatever. I think when I first joined and knew nothing about Hive I couldn't help but look at people getting huge upvotes and be like, ?? "What? How? Where's mine?"
That mentality changed once I really understood the platform and formed new ideas about it.
When I joined all I really knew about crypto was, buy a coin and cross your fingers. But then really quickly I got to learn about blockchain tech and so much more.
Hive really is something special compared to other social medias. I've met so many cool people on here and have had so many great chats. It was kind of scary when I first joined as I came to it alone and didn't know anyone here. But, within my first few days I was welcomed and have been given so many oppurtunities since joining.
I love this podcast. This is really important that newbies should know about and you know whenever a new user entered Hive. They will keep asking a lot and that's okay. The highlight here is that if you want to grow your follower, network or connections, then you must be socialized to others as well. Basically, don't just drop your blog and you'll leave like that. As what you've said, Hive is still a social platform. Newbies should hear this podcast. Thanks for this podcast, I appreciated it.

Just kidding (well not really, cause it IS great...) A SUPER IMPORTANT topic here! When I see a comment on my post, it's important to me to respond to connect. I then go to that person's profile and read the last thing they posted. This is how I've made all my friends here so far, because it seems many people are doing the same thing.
We see a well thought out comment, and it makes us smile! We want to go spread that smile back around. Yeah, in doing this we get more Hive. But... if you're just looking at coin values, you're missing the real value.
I love how you summed all that up, and the simple way you outlined where the value of Hive is on multiple levels. Thanks for sharing this awesome podcast, and happy belated birthday to the hubs!
You've made a helpful episode for sure... as a new Hive user, we're trying to piece all the information together. My profile only has one intro post but I've been doing my best to explore other people and interests, including this podcast. Other sites feel like blogging or podcasting in a vacuum, so I want to learn about the Hive ecosystem as much as possible. You're right about the most significant value of Hive being community involvement. This episode in particular is incredibly helpful so thank you for answering all of our questions!
My question involves other websites associated with Hive-- Aureal, PeakD, Inji, Ecency, etc. How do they connect and what is the best way to manage all of these extensions? How do you personally use each one to create, promote, and share your content?
Thanks again for all your help, I'm really absorbing the information and can't wait to hear back!

Nice post.
Just kidding hahahaha. Some people just want to get votes without doing nothing. They should put efforts to posts and engage with people.
