I only have experience with YT. I upload my videos there and insert links into articles.
I did it! Now I'll try to transfer it to Dtube & I'll tag you in the post. If it doesn't work I'll just insert a link in the comment.
Rather than "struggling" with DTube, it's probably less frustrating to do it via YT :-).
