Two days back there was alpha launch and the airdrop and staking rewards started going out yesterday. Before we go a little further, it will be nice to see a short brief about the Muterra game.
Muterra is a retro-style RPG game on Hive blockchain. There are several games on Hive Blockchain already live and some are under development. Muterra is one such game. The game has been under development for over a year now and finally, it had an alpha launch two days back. The game assets like Tamer License and Crates are under sale now. People who missed purchasing the initial packs can make use of this opportunity to purchase and get their hands on Muterra.
For people holding Muterra assets there is also an airdrop and staking rewards going on. It is said that the staking rewards APR is very high right now. Maybe you can do the calculations by yourselves to find out how much that is. The airdrop value is also pretty decent for the assets we are holding. What is special about Muterra?
The first special thing for our community is that Muterra is a Made in India game. The developers and the team are based in India and operating from India. Even though the crypto situation is not clear right now and many projects fear doing anything related to crypto in India, the team has taken the bold decision to keep the game based in India and operate it from India.
The next special thing about Muterra is that it is an actual playable game similar to Pokemon. In additon to the gameplay, people can collect and trade assets. The tokenomics is planned really well and it is expected that there are going to be lots of sinks for the token.
We Indians should take pride in welcoming a game that is being built on Hive blockchain from India and help reach many people for the success of the game.
Partnering with Muterra
We introduced IUC tokens recently and these IUC tokens are being given out as delegation rewards. There are no other ways right now to get IUC tokens. There are also buy orders placed in the market for people to sell their tokens if they don't want to maintain the price of the token close to 1 Hive each. In order to bring more utility for IUC tokens, we have partnered up with the Muterra game.
We are not ready with the full details of the partnership but there is going to be a new utility for IUC tokens inside the game and people can purchase assets exclusively with IUC tokens only. Other details are not yet clear or have not yet been defined yet. We will provide an update later with more details. It is good to see more utility coming up for IUC tokens one by one.
