Sorry. My bad.
I was under the impression that it's a global classification. It's an Indian thing just learned that. The tier2 means cities with population not exceed hundred thousand people.
Cost of Living is less there from my calculations while enjoying the perks for the major cities.
But I haven't been to such place yet.
I been to tier 4 though lovely place to visit and retreat but it will drive people who are addicted to fast lifestyle mad. 🤣🤣🤣
You know what I am going to try one more time Askin for Andaman as my work location. 🍻🍻
So now we both learned something :D
I think you should push really hard for it, and if they won't give it to you, depending on how you feel about your job, maybe time to find another one where you want toi live? Good luck :D
I dropped a request mail today Asking if they are ok with me WFH (real home) should be getting a reply in couple of days.
Although I am not going to push hard given the market conditions and the cost cutting I am not going to given them a reason for cutting me off. You know how ill prepared I am for such a situation. 🤣
If you're experienced at working from home (or if you find you work better from home) just tell them how much working from your actual home will increase your productivity levels. That's what happened with J, they were all forced to work from home over covid and then a bunch of them including him decided that they were never coming back to the office and as his job noticed that his productivity had skyrocketed since working from home they were like well we have Teams for when they need to have meetings so he and some of the other people that decided they weren't coming back in have been working from home ever since XD
