There are times when we as a parents are having a tough time. When I was not a mother I use to tell my sister to do this and do that and I felt like she is not raising her kids properly.
She is mother of two and the husband also lives out of country so she is all by herself to take care of the kids everyday. I was blessed to become a mother three years back and now I realize that I was wrong.
I see my son learning things from different sources within fraction of time. Sometimes the kids of my relatives, sometimes it is the neighbours.
Raising a kid involves good as well as bad experiences and what I have realized is that we can not do anything about it. You will have to deal with both of them.
When they learn something good and you notice, you can celebrate with them and enjoy that moment because that is something that makes us really happy.
When they do something bad like abusing or beating or shouting or anything else we have to react calmly and understand them for why they are behaving like that.
If you can talk to your kids and make them understand with love, they will evolve and learn from you. Moreover, it is we who are the role model for them in the initial years and so it is we who are responsible for the behavior they learn.
If you are good, your kids will learn good. If they learn something bad from outside you can correct them again and again. That is how it works in my opinion.
