Oh my! How I so much love this time of the year in my country😌 Am sure it would be winter in most Western countries.
By the way, this topic somehow brought my mind back to one bad experience my family and I encountered on one of our visits to Dubai.
We arrived at about 5:00 am. Surprisingly, it was so hot that it was burning the skin, especially if you stayed out for too long. We never knew they were in their summer which was directly the opposite of my country back home which was in their rainy season.
All through our stay there, we avoided staying out for too long and on our return back to the country, my baby bro then fell ill which resulted in chicken pox. That's when we learned to make sure to visit the clinic before exiting the country, especially for children or persons who hardly travel.
Since then, I hated the sun so much even while still in my country but also don't appreciate the cold either.
Now you could make me a good example of humans who complain too much about the seasons .lol
Well, I guess we can't get enough of everything.
Back to the prompt, Season.
Yes yes yes, I love Harmattan so much.
First, the smell of the atmosphere is heavenly. It reminds me that we're in the season of holidays.
Funny how other countries experience snow while ours is dust and am claiming to love it.😂
Well, I think the common thing between all seasons that comes during holidays is the aroma of the atmosphere.
Strangely, I love it when I see most people including myself putting on long stocks, tight shows and nose macks (okay, for the nose macks, Nigerians would agree with me that it was initially handkerchiefs were used more before masks became popular).
Then almost every lady would walk with Vaseline right inside their handbags since no one wants to turn white from the dryness.
The harmattan is generally a dry season where even your wet clothes get dried in minutes. I didn't even mention of the morning dews..My God!😌
It's one of the best seasons ever as far as am concerned and I sometimes feel sad when the end is approaching.
But I guess, all seasons are important so if the world must move on to satisfy us, nature has to take its coast unless it is so bad.
I appreciate all seasons and looking forward to the holidays🤗
Fascinating how you love the Harmattan! Dubai's unique season with its dry winds and customs like Vaseline is a cherished memory. Thanks for sharing this.
Oh, that's good to know.
You're welcome and thanks for reading through too😊❤
You are welcome
I love the low room temperature that comes with hamatan. My only challenge is the dusty wind mostly encountered in the North. It can make one dirty in seconds. If I am indoors during hamatan, I love it to the core.
#dreemerforlife
I think that dusty wind is everywhere in Nigeria.. Mainly in the north i agree but that's what's makes it beautiful 😊
I also love Harmattan. As much as the downside to it gives me catarrh, I still prefer harmattan. I despise heat with every fibre of my being.
Came in from dreemport.
Oh yes, i guess one of the disadvantages out of many..haha 😂
Have you happened to injure yourself in harmattan?😭😭
The way dusts would enter your house... Sweeping and mopping everyday.
Washing curtains every Saturday.
Be like na only you love the weather sha😭😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.. Oh jesus!!
How you outlined this got me rolling on my bed😂😂😂....

Every season is good as nature made it. Funny how I don't even have a favorite season. I just flow with anyone that comes, lol.
