Introduction
Good day to everyone, it's time again to look at the progress of my city as about a week had past. Instead of passively sitting out and slowly let SIM income come in day by day, I continue using my other layer 2 coins to build up my city to allow it to give me more SIM income each day.
What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.
My City and Intermediate Plans

As I've mentioned in my previous post, to make more progress in my city, I have traded away some of my layer 2 tokens into SIM and make some purchase in the market for a new set of wind turbine set which consist of a wind turbine, an economist and an eco-activist.
This has brought my max tax refund to 77 SIM which incidentally become my income per day. But it hasn't solve my income ceiling issue for more income. As such more tax refund cards are much needed in order for me to gather more income from the city. In my last post, I shared some market data of Eco-Activist which goes at about 2500 SIM per piece and gives 2 tax refund. Today I went to look up and hunt for cards that give more tax refund and chanced upon Politician which gives a whopping 25 tax refund.
Currently it goes at approximately 14k SIM which is less than 12x of a 2500 SIM Eco-Activist. I think this is a good card to invest in as it really brings about loads of tax refund. Let's continue monitor the market as well to see any other good additions for my city.

I have decided to keep this in my updates so as to keep an eye on myself to ensure I am truly making progress and moving closer to this goal as build my city. From last update, we had a 6k increase which is slightly lower than the week before. But I did continue to build up my city and added another wind turbine set which will move me closer to owning a wind farm. Will continue to work on this and move closer towards the goal.
Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 295,029 SIM. SIM increase mainly coming from Young Citizen sales for this week and layer 2 token swap. Let's continue to grow and grow, charging towards the goal of getting 1 million SIM.
Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.
With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:
Assuming no increase in Sim Power (which is not possible with my city still generating income), I will get 0.54 liquid Hive per month. This is a slight increase from previous but there is also possible variations of this, so in order to be more consistent, need to continue building up my SIM holdings. This amount that is earned passively will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, and when the goal is hit, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now due to reduced liquid hive gotten per day, while I am further away from my goal of 0.333 liquid Hive per day.
Closing
I am glad to be able to ramp up my efforts into building my city. While it is not like my city overnight become a massive metropolitan, every growth is still celebrated as we continue to strengthen the city and at the same time see more SIM being accumulated to build up the passive liquid Hive income.
