The world's biggest sweet potatoes are grown in areas where it is generally warmer than here so i see no reason why they shouldn't grow well where you are. We are growing a long list of plants we were told don't grow here because generally it is nothing more than the perceptions we hold which prevent us from trying to grow certain things and very often we will find ourselves surprised when we actually give it a go. Even better if we can tune in to the needs of the plant and provide that which is required during the growth period.
Am still stretching but not slapping much at the moment. Too busy cleaning land for now. But still making progress for sure :)
Everyone is in perfect health thanks and looking forward to a cold winter.
Sending you hugs & white rabbits π
It sounds like you are extra busy these days as you have to look after more land.
Stretching exercises are good for our bodies. I try to form a new habit of stretching and doing some weight lifting every other day. I need to get fit and strong for more gardening work.
Years ago, villagers used to grow sweet potatoes in this area. But they used too much chemical so the soil had turned problematic with lots of pests. These pests just love sweet potatoes. So they had to stop growing sweet potatoes altogether which was a shame. I might have to experiment growing them in big buckets or bags.
So glad to know everyone us healthy and doing very well.
All the best.
