Mrs Raven, driven mad by grief after her husband was killed in cold blood, spent the rest of her lonely days in Rag, a land known to be possessed by darkness and magic. Before taking her last breath, she cursed the land, and there her lifeless body was left hanging on a tree. Generations passed, the land remained forbidden, until the year 2024, when 4 kids, Maria, Dele, Rufus, and Gad dare to venture into the land rumored to be haunted by the ghost Mrs Raven.
A loud howling welcomed the four as their feet landed on the forbidden land, followed by a continuous groaning and cry. Every hair on their body rose up straight, accompanied by a cold shiver.
"I'm scared," Rufus said, his eyes widened.
"Me too" Maria answered, her legs now stiff
"Don't be scared, let's find a shelter in the hut over there" Gad said, pointing at a one in the far end. They hurriedly went inside, Maria still shaking. They were welcomed by an old woman, "welcome little ones, you can sit over there" she said, pointing at a pumpkin that looks like a chair. Maria tried to run out when suddenly the doors and windows closed.
"Let's play "trick or treat" little monsters, don't be in a hurry to go" the old woman said laughing instinctively.
The doors and windows opened once again, immediately Maria ran out. She vanished immediately she stepped out, only her camera and dress was seen on the floor. Fear gripped the rest, and they retraced their step.
"So choose, trick or treat? Be careful what you choose, because it determines if you'll see the next minute. I know you've come for the trick" she said laughing as she watched how nervous they were.
Suddenly they found themselves in a room filled with puzzles to solve. Each wrong move gave them a cut. Five wrong moves from Rufus resulted in his eyes dropping on the floor, everything went blank. Gad and Dele were bruised as they solved one puzzle after another to the final one where they stumbled on Rufus' lifeless body.
"Well done little monsters" the old woman appeared, "you've proven yourself worthy, go and tell them that Mrs Raven lives and will remain a mare to anyone who walks the street at nightfall".
