The first thing he did was to look.
On her phone for a sign.
Where it said she missed him.
But there was nothing.
That didn't matter.
Because he misses her every morning.
And he looks for her because it's important
To start his day .
With joy.
A message, a how do you do .
Good morning, any detail.
To tell her that she is well.
For him that's a gift from God .
In a difficult land.
Her smile is heaven.
For him, why he's loved her since he met her.
She's the paradise that God built.
Just for him .
In relationships, we take so many things for granted sometimes. A simple message from a love one is a gesture that brightens one's day and fosters a heartfelt connection.
