I was very introverted, and without many friends to share with, I could say that I counted them on one hand and had fingers to spare. Hahaha. My thing had never been to socialize a lot but to lock myself in my room and play video games or study.
When I graduated from high school, I had many problems getting a job, although I was intelligent and could develop any job. I always failed the personality and sociability tests. I was on the verge of depression, and my mother became worried.
“Son, you must start socializing, or you will achieve nothing in this life.” My mother's eyes expressed a deep sense of worry.
“Don't worry, Mother, I will achieve whatever I set my mind to.” A lie with a hint of anger came out of my mouth. “I am ready to achieve. Give me some more time.”
My mother ducked her head and left the room while I continued to think about how to get a job and get out of that introverted state that was limiting my options for getting ahead. The days continued to pass quickly while my condition did not improve.
Suddenly, something surprising happened. I met an old friend. My joy was instantaneous when I saw him and remembered many things from the past. Memories flew through the air, along with the laughter of those magical moments.
“What beautiful moments, friend. And tell me, have you already found a job?” His voice was changing to a more serious tone.
“Well. A few opportunities have presented themselves, but nothing has taken hold.” A look of disenchantment came over my face.
“The situation is difficult, and with this government that does not provide job opportunities, it is complicated.” My friend patted me on my back.
“That's right, it's getting harder every day. I don't know what I'm going to do.” A sigh of disenchantment I let out into the air.

«Hijo, debes empezar a socializar o no tendrás lo que buscas en esta vida». Los ojos de mi madre expresaban un profundo sentimiento de preocupación.
«No te preocupes, madre, conseguiré lo que me proponga». Una mentira con un dejo de enojo salía de mi boca. «Ya estoy listo para conseguir. Dame un tiempo más».
Mi madre agachaba la cabeza y salía del cuarto, mientras yo seguía pensando como conseguir un trabajo y de paso salir de ese estado introvertido que limitaba mis opciones para salir adelante. Los días seguían pasando veloces en tanto mi estado no mejoraba.
De repente algo sorpresivo pasó, me encontré con un viejo amigo, mi alegría fue instantánea al verlo y recordar muchas cosas del pasado. Los recuerdos volaban por el aire junto con las risas de aquellos momentos mágicos.
«Que bonita época, amigo. ¿Y dime ya has conseguido trabajo?». Su voz cambiaba a un tono más serio.
«Pues algunas oportunidades se han presentado, pero nada se ha consolidado». Un semblante de desencanto se apoderó de mi rostro.
«La situación está difícil y con este gobierno que no da oportunidades laborales, es complicado». Mi amigo me daba unas palmaditas en mi espalda.
«Así es, esto cada día está más difícil. No sé qué voy hacer». Un suspiro de desencanto solté al aire.
«Amigo, si quieres obtener algo de dinero, mientras consigues algo, puedes hacer una cuenta en esta plataforma que se llama Hive». Él sacó su celular y me empezó a mostrar cómo funcionaba.
«Oh, parece genial, pero, ¿en verdad se puede ganar dinero escribiendo?». Yo con un dejo de escepticismo preguntaba.
«Es muy confiable, mira todo lo que he ganado y puedo retirar cuando yo quiera. No hay trucos». Él seguía indicándome el celular y continuaba diciendo. «Hive es muy confiable para ganar dinero y disfrutar de lo que hacemos».

Todos los días profundizaba en Hive y aprendía día con día y muchos amigos conocía, más de los que había tenido en toda mi vida. Un amigo Virtual me habló de Inleo otra alternativa a Hive, que era muy interesante por qué se podía hacer hilos y ganar dinero con estos.
Sigo en Hive e Inleo haciendo dinero, muchos amigos y he convertido mi trasegar por las plataformas en una rutina que me alegra mucho, me hace aprender, divertirme y lo más importante que he dejado atrás mi introversión conociendo mucha gente de varios países, aprendiendo mucho de sus culturas y costumbres.

Being an introvert has its perks, I mean it's peaceful, calming, you don't get to bother about embarrassing yourself whilst talking to people but I don't know,sometimes it's just really sad. I mean coming from me first hand, I am a full time introvert and honestly, I'm not happy about it, it's nothing to brag about because my social life is currently dead, I don't know how to go about with my coursemates in uni because truly,you need people in life,you can't pull of any and everything by yourself, it's reality and reality sucks a lot,I hate it.
