I really need time
I don't know how long, I don't know when,
but my soul asks for a breath,
a pause in the labyrinth,
The hours slip slowly by
like shadows in the sunset,
each instant a sigh,
a thief of my being.
I don't even know how, I have no idea
what path I'll take,
I only know that on this journey,
my essence, I will recover.
The roots that anchor me
look fragile, worn out,
but time, faithful master,
will renew my dawns.
