I remember back in 2006, my school mates and I had to develop a new strategy every week to avoid Al-Qaida's sniper, just to reach the school, entering the school was the task of the day, and those who fail this task sent straight to the other life.
that was only one thing, never mention what my father had to do to reach his job, and my mother to reach hers, and so one.
This is shocking to read tbh, I mean, I can't even imagine how to get through that. You just try to survive I assume but wow. I'm looking forward to reading your stories. I may not always read them as I also know there are times that I should avoid heavy topics to protect myself from feeling down. I'm that person that "takes things home" when reading/seeing something horrible.
Anyway, glad you joined and enjoy Hive! Smart move not to publish in your country, what a horrible deal!
Oh but that wasn't everything, that was just the daily routine, I didn't mention the mortars shells and the random rockets, or the daily conflict between two small armies and the main door of the house.
It was a period never happened in the history of man kind.
Thanks for your warm words!
