My Son's Third Grading Module: Learning Structure's Names and their Purposes (Kindergarten Homeschooling 2022))

in Home Edders3 years ago

Greetings!

Welcome to another edition of homeschooling of my son using learning modules from his school. In this edition he will be learning about the names of structures and their uses, he will be identifying things that start with the letters "Li", and he will be learning about the names of popular shops and stores and their uses.

As of the moment, my son's mode of schooling is combined homeschooling (through learning modules) and face-to-face schooling. His class was split into two sets, Set A and Set B. Both sets will be attending face-to-face schooling one after the other. If one of the set is not attending face-to-face schooling then they will be given learning modules.

Since my son is still in kindergarten I can say that I like the lessons given to him but I cannot say if the school's way of teaching is "slow" or not. But since I am talking about kindergarten the lessons are quite fit (according to my observation) on their age since kindergarten is the year where there are lots of introductions.

In this edition, we started with the lesson of learning the names of structures used by Dentists, Barbers, and Mailmen by writing the correct letters.

I love this lesson because it introduces him to popular structures that are commonly seen in a community.

After he learned the names of structures commonly seen in a community the second lesson is about identifying them. In this lesson, he is tasked to identify the structures that he just learned from the previous lesson by encircling and checking the correct structure.

The next lesson is identifying things (Living things and Non-living things) that start with the letters "L" and "i". In this lesson, he is tasked to encircle them.

Next up is a lesson where he is tasked to color the uppercase letter L and lowercase letter L with a different color. Coloring is one of my son's favorite lessons.

Moving forward the next lesson is about identifying the use of a structure or place by coloring them with different colors.

And he finally learns the names of common shops and stores usually seen in a community like supermarkets, bakeries, and drug stores.

Then he is tasked to trace-write the names of popular places commonly seen in a community like churches, schools, and parks, therefore, learning the places and their names in the process.

There's also a lesson about counting in his learning module further enhancing his number and counting knowledge.

And finally, to make him remember the names of the places that he learned a while ago, the final lesson is about identifying the names of the structures that he learned a while ago.

That is all for now in this edition of my son's homeschooling. Have a nice day everyone.

Blessings @afterglow, excellent guides for working with the little ones, I imagine the level of difficulty is progressively advancing.

Peace and good!!!

Homeschooling is really a great way to teach children, have some quality time with them, and just be a chill dad. Good to see that you are doing your best. 😊

Indeed, I do get to spend quality time with him which is also what I am taking advantage of because he grows too fast.

Teaching ang bonding moments for the win! haha.

our sons are of the same age, about the same I think. so your tasks are just for me;)

That's nice to hear. I'll be looking out for more of the activities that you are going to share then. Good afternoon!

you are a good and psychopathic dad, i like the way you raise him

Thank you, have a nice day ahead (^_^)

Fathers love. 💙

Indeed (^_^)

These activities look very educational. It's good that study guides are age-appropriate.

Yes, it is very appropriate for his age.
