RE: Learning to speak in public/ Aprendiendo hablar en público. [Eng/Esp]

Wow! very good, Isa!

Sometimes we tend to underestimate our children but I guess that would also be like underestimating what we have taught them.

While my kids communicate well with other children and adults alike, I also would like them to develop the ability to better express themselves (explain concepts and whatnot).

Public speaking is something I was confident with growing up. My parents were big contributors to my confidence. They always boosted me. I will never forget the first time I joined a declamation contest at school. I could see everyone from the stage. It was terrifying, my knees were shaking. My mom told me to put a coin inside my shoe to help me with stage fright. I believed her and I think it worked. Haha. That was the start of many more public speaking experiences for me. My kids, being home schooled, do not have that same platform, but I wish to still tap that skill in them. Maybe soon.

Isabella really taught us a lesson. Sometimes I feel that we overprotect our children but I guess it's normal but we also give them part of our fears when we don't trust in their abilities today we know that she can do many things she just needs our confidence so that hers can grow.
