After having the shape of the penguin, we started to color or paint them with watercolors, this time my son Marcos was in charge of applying the color to the drawing.

My son takes a lot of concentration not to go outside the edges of the drawing.

With a blunt scissors our children can cut out the penguin shape, but if we don't have that kind of scissors for safety we provide the support to cut it out.

After cutting out the penguin, we will glue it on our recycled cardboard and again cut out the shape of this beautiful little animal.

With a recycled margarine container we are going to line it with our recycled cardboard to have a strong base and the space where the crayons will be placed at the end.

Finally, we glue our penguin to the base we made and we will obtain our beautiful crayon holder.

I hope you enjoyed making this cute crayon holder, and the best of all is to be able to teach our children that we can make different decorative and useful objects for our learning spaces from recycled products.
