Allowing our children to have spaces for distraction and where not everything is a rigid activity is important. I love how with paint books children can relax and rest a little and then continue with their school obligations, it encourages creativity in them, perhaps a blank wall where they can paint with chalk, crayons and so on, is necessary for their emotional and cognitive well being.
