Do you have a child who enjoys puzzle activities? π§‘π
I surely do! My toddler loves to solve puzzles and actually he enjoys it since the age of one! Now he's almost three....uihhhhh....
Time please slow down! πβ±οΈβ
We have such a nice weather here! 18Β°C that's something in October :x:X so we're spending at least 2-3 hours outside
- picking up leaves, chestnuts, cones
- walking and observing things & nature
- going to the park near our house
- playing with our cats
- jumping on trampuline
- riding the scooter or the bike
- playing with the ball
- writting with chalk
- maybe some cleaning in the yard/garden
This is what you can do at home with your kids and its absoultely free & no money spending , nature play based, sensory exploration and sensory learning.
LEAF PUZZLE
Introducing nature through play π
Go for a hunt at the park and search for different leaves! πΏπ
βLeaf puzzle encourages fine motor and hand-eye coordination while connecting with nature.
Doing this activity, we discussed a bit about leaves, what role they have in a tree, that they have round, serrated edges and that they have countless shapes, etc.
You only need one piece of cardboard/paper and marker.
Draw the outline of the leaf on the cardboard and then let your toddler/preschooler assemble the puzzle. π§©ππ
Such an easy way to play and learn!
I really hope this is useful for you, homeedders, educators and parents!
Thank you for reading,
Missdeli π§‘π
I love your creativity. This kind of activity helps stimulate the brain of a child. With that said, I will surely try this out with my son.
Thanks! and I'm so happy that you can do some of our activities! :)
You're welcome (^_^)
Thank you!
