Hey guys,
This is not a fancy learning activity but the time we were spending outside was quite nice and educational. Also very practical and easy to set up...
Painting numbers in the snow was a super thing to do with my son. HE LOVES NUMBERS. HE LOVES SNOW. HE'S CRAZY ABOUT PAINTING! So all three in one was a huuge enjoyment for him.
I feel that we need to embrace these simple fun activities we can do with our little ones at home, because great things can happen from small things. Like this one right here!
We put on our jackets, took the number sand shapes and watercolors, and went out. It was sunny outside, we really had a great time.
We go out everyday, so It thought to try this. I saw the idea on instagram or somewhere and here it is!
All you need is a couple of water colors and some sand shapes.
You can skip the shapes in case you dont have them and it's still a good activity for your child to practice fine motor skills, let her/him creativity and imagination fly away and develop their artistic talent.
Snow paint requires no set up, you have everything you need there!
Also, this activity is a sensorial activity too. They can feel the snow, observe it and create! You can mix colors in the snow too! That would be so fun.
This is a fun way of to introduce numbers to your child or maybe you just want to fix these early mathematical skills like recognition and spelling numbers.
If your kid doesnt like cold, you can bring some snow inside in a large plastic box...just saying.
In the end he enjoyed painting on the ice. He was really excited to see how watercolors drip on the ice and how different colors are getting combined together.
You can replace numbers with letters, shapes of any kind. Also you ca bring out your animal figurine and observe their traces.
You can use food colorant if you want, instead of water colors. I think that one is much stronger in color.
I would appreciate your opinion about this. Is there something you would add to it? We still have snow so I wouldn't mind a few extra ideas ππ€
have a great time. missdeli β¨
A very beautiful super cool activity ha ha ha ha. This type of activity also fosters knowledge of the elements and love for nature.
Yep! Exactly! Nature activities and outside play are the best we can offer to our children.
I love your creativity, this is such a fun activity for children.
Yep! My son definetely had fun doing this!
Children often forget about the heat or cold in exchange for their joy. It's great when we play with them.
Yes! So much truth in these words! I remember how in my childhood we were spending hours in snow on very low temperatures sleeding and playing and no kid out there was cold! Not even one! We were staying outdoors for hours!
This is super fun...colouring the form of water with water colour....looks awesome...
Thanks a lot @queenart! appreciate it comming from you! :X;x
thank you team Venezuela!
This is something I've never done but looks a lot of fun π
It's quite relaxing and fun for the adults too, but kids surely would love this! We never tried it in school when we were little haha :)
I wasn't expecting that it is possible since our country is not experiencing a snow but to see this, it's great! I love how you and your son were able to manage a unique activity according to the weather. You both are lucky enough to experience this one of a kind.
Yes...we had snow for the last three weeks. We still have it. And in adition to that, we have some solid ice on the ground too.
I'm grateful too when we can experience some activities in nature, depending on every season.
Thank you for comenting!
cheers from Romania
Oh! I love this! I am freezing just looking at it. LOL.
Huh!π It's been like these for 3 weeks already\1...now the snow it started to melt down but the cold is still the same!
greetings for you too!π
