RE: Life Skills development with work from home

in Home Edders4 years ago

Statistically something good at to come out of this mess XD

J has been trying to find a job that would be amenable to him working from home and I think he was somewhat in the process of thinking about trying to negotiate it recently now that he's been in his industry long enough to get some leverage (I assume because people are actually calling him to work for them instead of just him applying for jobs) and then nonsense happened and suddenly he was working from home. Then work found out he was actually more productive working from home and they were like fine you can stay there then and he's been loving it XD

You're lucky your kids are so small, we were trying really hard to make it happen while ours were still tiny but just couldn't do it.

I am sorry that you couldn't get it to work earlier, I know that feeling as I had been trying quite alot. I was put on a 1 day a month trial and then occasionally days in between.

Then COVID hit and everyone was home, I got lucky in that regard
