MATHS WITHOUT COUNTING FOR MY UNSCHOOLING SON

in Home Edderslast year (edited)

Who says that Maths is only counting?

That was a question in the book I had found for my son. We are an unschooling family, so I study and analyze many ebooks to find really something interesting and useful.

So the question puzzled me a lot. And I downloaded this book. And how great it was!

It explained and showed that Maths is a science if logics and deep systematic thinking. It's not just making sums or studying division and multiplication table. It's activities that help kid to think and analyze. And if he succeeds, then any counting will be easy for him.

Tasks in this book were really different. No numbers and maths actions at all! Though it's a Maths book!

There are only logical tasks, different kinds of puzzles, and brainstorms.

My son studies division now, and he really was a little bit tired just from classical tasks.

This book was our discovery to different Maths. We both are in love with it!

Really... maths is not just counting, now I do see it:)![]

You are taking very good care of your son my dear to see that he does not fall into the rut of the system.
You are right, it's about understanding the logic then it becomes so simple for them to pick up any subject

School really makes conventional learning boxed in, great with your kid
