MY CHAMPION IN READING

My son is a champion in reading!;)

I often told my HiveFam about his love to reading and books.
We went to the city library at 6-7 y.o. for the first time when I got that we really needed library bookd because we had not enough free space for his new books at home;)

The library is our second home now. He goes there several times a week - to take new books or to visit kids activities there (there are many of them every weekend).

Not long ago the library got results for the 2024 years and chose some kids for definite categories.
Nobody knew about that contest! So it ws a secret, and nobody had a chance to influence results.

We were very surprised when we came to the library as usual to take new books, and my son got his award - a nice diploma that he was the most active reader among all kids 7-14 y.o. (he is 9 now).

He was very glad to get his award, it was just a paper in fact, but it means very much for him!

When I asked a librarian how many books he has read, she said she was tired to count them because there were more than 150 of them!
Wow!

I am happy my son has such passion for reading , and he can do it really very fast.

He took these books in the library on Tuesday this week.
Now they are over;) 3 days for these two books is really not bad for his age, yeah?

Now he is reading a thick book, but he isn't afraid of it:)

Why is he such a "book worm"?:)
Not a secret - both me and my hubby are great reading lovers;)

And I'm happy we have a chance to be unschooled, and my son has enough time for his beloved hobbies and reading.
