Venezuela Humans or Zombies?

in Home Edders4 years ago (edited)

You will be surprised to see the title of my post and it is not for less, my beautiful country has become a country where 80% of its inhabitants stopped knowing true happiness many years ago, where pleasures could no longer be enjoyed. of life such as traveling, tasting dishes, new clothes and fashionable accessories, sharing with friends, families, and it will sound a bit funny to you but it does not even give to be unfaithful because if you are unfaithful you do not eat; and they have turned us into zombies where the day to day is just thinking if you can eat something the current day without knowing what will happen tomorrow. The cost of the basic basket (eating very very basic rice and eggs) is approximately $ 600 and the minimum wage is $ 0.8, now imagine how do we survive? That's where the zombie mode I'm talking about is activated, because surprisingly with this minimum wage, supermarkets fill up, how cool, right? ... You will see many skinny and stubborn Venezuelans and you will immediately know that they survive here, others were always thin but you will see their skin hanging, and so on.

And it is that we are a country where if you get sick just by saying "I have nothing" you remain calm as if you really have nothing, and it is that to go to the doctor you need 36 minimum wages because otherwise you cannot attend a private consultation, and hospitals ... mmmmmmm .. Hospitals remind me of when I was a child and I saw the ninja turtles and you may wonder why he compares a hospital with the house of the ninja turtles? Well, let me tell you that the sewers are cleaner than the hospitals here, it is our sad reality.

Let's talk a little about housing. Who would not want in their life project to plan to have a house or even two, and a cart? In my country that is almost impossible if not impossible, and yes if there is someone who can achieve it (but legally it is not), the cost of a regular home is for the amount of $ 40,000 which is equal to 50,000 minimum wages (no This life is enough for you and 10 more lives living here to achieve it), there is a government program called "Great Venezuelan Housing Mission" where they give you a roof but it will be easier to get rich than to get one, and it is that if you do not lend yourself to their scoundrels You can not choose one, among those scoundrels is shouting slogans in their favor and putting things allusive to them, it really is one of the issues that saddens me the most to see how all the new generations that get up here or are criminals or They think about stealing or they think bad things and no good things because that is what the regime produces us through hunger, misery, etc.

In my country, one of the most beautiful traditions on the planet was lost "Christmas" and that is because this is our last stage of being zombies, they make us "grinch" and here there are no longer Christmas traditions, nor premieres and now Children are not born with the illusion of a child Jesus, the most that can happen is that a child is born and they name him Jesus, until then. And I could spend hours writing but I don't want to linger too long

Thanks

Is that minimum wage $0.80 per hour? What would you say are the most expensive essential foods there and why do you think that they have reached that cost?

You've taken an almost satirical approach here, which is certainly understandable as you try to survive in a country that has reached this level of crisis.

Don't forget to put a link to your entry on the contest announcement post

Sorry that I had not responded I had run out of HP, I had to throw a crybaby in discord so that they would give me some to be able to publish the link and respond and perhaps even publish something else.

Answering what you told me, well, $ 0.80 but not per hour, it is PER MONTH, and unfortunately every day it is less because the relationship of the national currency with the cost of the dollar is increasingly devalued and here the country is dollarized only that the government dome does not want to admit it and they keep nailing us the coin that has no validity. Among the basic foods that are not accessible at all, we have meat with a cost of $ 4.6 to $ 5 per kilo, milk with a value of $ 1.5 per liter, cheese with a value of $ 4 per kilo , and I could name so many things, is that nothing really has a normal cost.

These costs are like this because a country where everything is traded in dollars but you are not paid in dollars and where a minimum wage almost reaches less than 5 cents of a dollar, you can imagine ...

Finally, so as not to extend myself so much, I already published the link, I know that there are very good writers. I do not consider myself an editor, I simply write what I know and what I think.
